Was TP's delay worth it?

I haven't even played the GC version and I already now it's better.

But that's just in my opinion.

TP GC is better, I'm pretty sure of that.

Take, for example, the spin attack. On the Wii version you shake the Nunchuck from side to side to do it, but there's an almost non existant yet bothering lag between your movement and Link doing the spin attack in the game.

I bet there's no lag in the GC version.

The Wii version has better aiming though.

Yes the aiming is much better on Wii, but the Gamecube has so many things the Wii version does not! Including a ton of moves!

I made a topic about it. . .

A few moves are running with your sword out to the side. It looks awesome!!!

Holding your sword over your head while riding Epona (Like Link is charging itno battle.)

Switching to Bomb Arrows a lot faster.

And my favorite. . .

If your hold ® on Epona then he huggs againts her saddle and annot be knocked off.

Oh...

You can hold your sword over your head when riding Epona on the Wii version, but that's about it.

Really? You can do that on Wii?

Yeah, and things seem a lot better and more. . .Normal on the GC version. Death Mountain should always be on the right! :D

anything that isn;t down to buttons can be done on the wii version as well, which is why you can't do the epona thing and im not sure what you mean about the sword moves.

there's something strangely satisfying about flicking the wiimote to swing the sword, even if it isn't mapped to the controller, it just never feels right when i then have to use a to do the finishing move, in the original e3 demo that was a thrust down with the nunchuk :(

You can also walk while swinging the Ball and Chain.

Plus, it just feels right having link a Lefty. . .

I thought you could justhold it while walking, not swing it while walking. . .

Oh, one more thing is the ability to control the camera. That comes in handy.

Rotating the camera with the C-stick comes in handy in some situations, but centering the camera behind Link by pressing Z works just as well.

The C-stick is nice to better look at the places you explore.

And I loved rotating the camera like crazy in Wind Waker. I got so dizzy...!

Ithink that the delay was not only worth it but required because they made the game for the gc and then almost completely remade it for the wii. they had the basic tech. so it didn't take as long as it normaly would to make it from scratch
