I was taking this test to see which circle of Hell I belong to when an idea for a story hit me.

What if someone was sent to Hell? How would it be like? How would he get out?

So I started thinking a bit about it and then read this in someone's sig: When there's no more room in Hell, we will walk the Earth. Or something along those lines... It showed some Grim Reaper-like creatures holding scythes.

So, this is what I came up with:

A or group of people are somehow sent to Hell, while the Grim Reapers are set loose to roam the Earth and kill anything that stands in their way.

To stop them, the group of people must travel through all the Circles of Hell and find Satan's son (ZOMG... ) and murder him.

I want it to be a horror story.

Now, a few things I'd like to make clear:

1. The story won't involve God, Jesus or anything related to them. Only good ol' Satan and his place.

2.- I don't plan on using the fiery type Hell stereotype. I want to make it a lonely, sad, scary and quiet place.

I wrote some questions to help clear up the plot but they're all in Spanish so I'll post only a few of them.

Why are the persons sent to Hell?

Why do they have to murder Satan Jr.? ()

How's it in Hell?

What creatures exist there?

(No, I don't want you guys to answer them. )

What do you think?

Any suggestions and/or ideas will be much appreciated.

Sounds like a good story... What if you made hell alot different from how people think of it? like no flames and infernoes and stuff? And what if you made satan alot different then most people think of him? Like without the tail and horns and red skin, but actually a lonely and mentally ill person?

Not really sure if the questions were rhetorical or not :\

But if you're staying clear of the fiery, burning type of Hell, I envisage hell as a dark, gloomy & cobwebby type of haunted house - like something out of American Mcgee's Alice or Devil May Cry.

It would be dark, quiet...

Definetly not the burning, fiery type.

Satan....a man in a suit...a crazy man in a suit....a completely insane man in a suit......an insane man in a suit with small square glasses and a goutie (sp?)......

I think it should be a quiet place....so quiet that you must strain your ears to hear the cries and shrieks of those it has gotten to......or a place where there's nobody. Nobody at all. you don't need food, you don't need water, you can't die, and there's nothing but you. That would be pure torture. Too bad it's a group of people.....that would have been pretty good....(Wait a second, my idea sounds just like the Sacred Realm....dang.)

Or a place where you have this tremendous itch on your back, BUT YOU CAN'T REACH IT!!

I could picture Hell being a sad, lonely place with white walls and just really plain. And as someone mentioned above, with satan being not as we would normally think of him (Red, horns, tail etc)

I wrote a small paragraph today, just to get the story going.

It's in Spanish, so I'll post it later after translating it.
