I am surprised that no none has yet done a topic on this!!! (at least one I can find....)

Anyways..... would you ever expect the duo to ever get paired up together in a gme?????? It's unthinkable...

According to Nintendo Power====== and other sources.... these old rivals are about to go head to head in all out battle for once..... So now it is happening.......... They chose the olympic setting because the olympic games.............according to Scott Steinberg( VP of Sega of America's marketing) "Gives us that spirit of sportsmanship and heathy competition that really allows the fans, who have been clamoring and arguing about who's the best character, to finally settle this 15-year-old score"..... While Miyamoto (who is definitely cooler) states, "Mario and Sonic have been respectful rivals since the early days of video games... In fact, for a long time they have been discussing the possibility of one day competing against eachother..... we may finally learn who's faster, Mario or Sonic." Well there you have it. The dream team... A plumber and a hedgehog in the olympic games... Wow!!! Other characters will include Luigi, Knuckles, Yoshi, and Tails and will compete in events such as swimming, table tennis, and the 100-meter dash. The consoles will be Wii and Ds (sorry to all of you Xbox fans out there!!! )..... and will hit stores this holiday season (for the U.S. anyways...).

Personally, I think Sonic is faster than Mario, but who knows?

Yeah, because Sonic games are pretty much centered around speed....(Or at least the early/good ones). I've never actually even played a Sonic game, but that's what I gather from...places.

Yeah, I still have the old Sega handheld (well now that I think about, compared to todays handhelds, its more of a smaller (not by much) version of a tv lol) I wonder if mine still works..
