AC:WW island

as the topic states...ive heard to get there, you have to have four friends and donate 50 fossils to nooks. to do this, does only ONE person donate the fossils? can i get the whistle in my town without friends? what are the EXACT specifics on this? i went to my friends town with me, him, and two other people on the DS to DS setting.....(dont have the whistle, but still)

There's an Island in the GameCube version of AC, but I've never heard of one in the DS version.

There is no island in AC:WW.

I've never heard that rumor before, though... it must be a new one.
