Posted 26 Oct 2007 Tatl: Ta-ttle Argorok: Ar-gor-awk This isnt from Zelda, but how do you guys pronounce King Dedede's name? Me: King Duh-duh-day (I say the two duh's really fast) I say Dee-dee-dee. Japanese: ヂヂヂ 「Dididi」 And Nintendo confirmed that Tatl and Tael's names were a play on "tattletale," so there's no dispute there anymore.

Posted 26 Oct 2007 lol. Some one I knew used to pronounce Midna as 'Mide-nah'. xD Well, the Japanese pronounce her name "Midona" 「ミドナ」, so as far as the original pronounciation, that person was pretty close.

Posted 13 Oct 2009 Midna cannot be pronounced that way. I just don't see how. Mid na. Not that difficult. Ooccoo is much more difficult. I think Kakariko is difficult too, I personally say "Kah kuh ree koh." I think Deku is pronounced "Deh koo" but I've always said "Dee koo" and I'm not changing. Kokiri, I pronounced "Kah kuh ree." Not sure if that's right or not.
Posted 14 Oct 2009 I love phonetics! Midna is mid-NAH Ooccoo is oo-choo (like a choo-choo) Kakariko is kay-kay-REE-ko Kokiri is ko-KAI-ree I wish I had those umlauts and strikethrogh O's and such to get the accents just right
