Possiblites of the next Zelda Wii

I voted other, The only possibility for the next game is for it to be awful. Rather like Twilight Princess, but worse.

Most of the 3D Zelda games are pretty bad.

Ocarina of time, for example was good but not great. People like it the most because it was 3D.

A note for the mods though:

In writing this, I am not flame-baiting but voicing my opinion.

Either a continuation to Twilight Princess (in the way MM was for OoT, LA was to LttP, and PH was to WW) or a completely new game, I say. Although 3D remake of LttP tempts me...

There is a 3D remake of A Link to the Past, and it's called Ocarina of Time.

no, ocarina of time is completly different. lttp has way more levels, way harder, way funner (at least in my opinion) besides, the storyline is completely different. where did that one wizard go in oot then? hmm? to the mini-mall? and then what happened to pig gannon? and the dark world? i could go on...

In both games:

-Princess Zelda is capable of telepathy

-Three relics are required to aqcuire the Master Sword

-Zelda has left Hyrule Castle by the time Link acquires said three relics

-The Sages must be rescued, and Zelda herself is one of them

-Some form of time travel is present and required

-An alter ego of one of the main characters is present (Zelda-Sheik and Ganondorf-Agahnim)

-The rescue of the Sages unlocks a specific dungeon called Ganon's Tower

I refuse ownage :P

then please, tell me, where did Agnham (or however you spell it) go?

and where is the dark world?

and the three relics aren't even found in the same place, heck, the terrain is even different.

where is the chapel, might i ask?

and where is the wood choppers hut by the forest?

and where in the world did the famous turtle rock go?

HMMMMMMMMM!!!

i'll go on, seeing as i'm a pro when it comes to lttp. :P

plus, they don't rescue the sages in lttp, just descendents of them.

and no, traveling between worlds isn't time traveling.

You obviously have a limited definition of 'remake'.

When I said remake, I mean that Ocarina of Time essentially recycled major plot elements from A Link to the Past. What two games in the series other than direct sequels borrow the same plot elements the way Ocarina of Time and A Link to the Past did?

Ocarina of Time is as close as you'll get to a 3D remake of A Link to the Past, and why would you want one, anyway? Zelda Wii isn't due for 2009 at the earliest; why wait two years at least for the exact same plot with prettier graphics--which Ocarina of Time more or less did to A Link to the Past?

And your last two points shows that you're grasping straws. Rauru according to the story is only one remaining of the Ancient Sages--that means Darunia, Saria, Impa, Nabooru and Ruto all succeeded someone at one point in Hyrule's history. The Light/Dark Worlds are identical to traveling back and forth between Link's childhood and adulthood: both worlds parallel each other, and one is a darker, more bleak version of the other.

Grumble... i guess you got a point.

but if you ask nintendo, they'll say,

"Nope, oot wasn't willingly a remake of lttp"

and if it really is a remake of lttp, my opinion of rating went down from a 9 to a 1,

seeing how horribly they remade it.

Stop being so elitist, no one cares if you've beaten a Link to the Past.

Having done so doesn't make any better than anyone else.

LTTP is not a remake of OOT.

They share a similar storyline, but then every Zelda game does.
