I'm not trying to sound mean, but, I thought there was a rule on chat AND forums that people are not allowed to advertise other sites. Yet I've seen this happen a lot on the forums, and sometimes the mods don't do anything about it.

So, I just want to know, ARE we, or AREN'T we allowed to advertise, no matter how much of a member we are?

you're not allowed to advertise if that's all you've come here to do, the only thing you'd get punished for is if you started posting it in every topic and creating a ton of threads about it. If all of your posts are basically "come here! visit this!" then they'll just be got rid of because they're not benefiting anyone...

There's not really anything wrong with creating a single topic to advertise your site.
