Soldiers filled in the lake at the bottom of the waterfall. They soon found themselves to be swimming.Sigilant leaped from his hiding spot in between two rocks along the cliff and performed his drill attack into the center of the lake. The attack sent waves through the lake, making it harder for the soldiers to move. Many of them were thrown on top of each other.Sigilant swam below them, slicing their legs and enjoying the blood. The lake soon became red because of the blood.Once he was sure that he had just about all of them,he swam to shore and ran cave that led to the caverns under Kilik's house.

Soldiers looked down into the lake below, seeing soldier's bodies floating to the top of the lake and seeing soldiers drown. The lake was horrifying to look at.It was blood red.Ryu was not unnerved by it in the least bit.His dragon jumped down to the lake, landing with an earthquake and a huge splash. The dragon blew fire into the cave that Sigilant had ran down.

Sigilant trotted down the cave.He took one last look back and saw the dragon outside. He quickened his pace to a full out sprint, just barely avoiding the fire that the dragon blew.

Niel and the other heroes fought hard in the caverns.Soldiers had gone into Kilik's house and had found the caverns. Then they poured into them.Anna decapitated a few, while Link cleared out a long line of troops with a barrage of light arrows.Zelda hit an equally large group with Din's Fire. She then used Nayru's Love and jumped into the middle of a group of soldiers, clearing them out with Din's Fire.Archers arrived and lined up at the entrance to the caverns. They all readied their arrows.Sigilant showed up,executing a front-flip over the heroes. The arches decided to focus on Sigil. They all fired, but Sigilant simply slid under their line of fire. They tried to ready another salvo of arrows, but were too late.Sigilant caught up to them and played bloody-murder with them.It had seemed like the majority of the enemy soldiers had been eliminated.Suddenly, the caverns began to rumble.Ryu's dragon could be heard pounding on the ground above. They had to get out!

"MOVE,MOVE,MOVE!!!" Niel shouted, pointing at the entrance and running to it.They all sprinted out of the caverns, which collapsed as soon as they got out. They ran out of the house and saw Ryu's dragon flying above. It spotted them and readied itself for a steep dive.

This was it.

"You go, I'll hold him off!" They were exiting the desert area and were re-entering the forest when Niel shouted. Sigilant stopped too, and then the others.

"Together." Zelda said.

They turned to face Ryu and his dragon, who were swooping down from high up in the sky. They drew their weapons and prepared themselves, Niel had a broadsword he stole from a soldier.

The dragon flew right from the center, and the heroes parted to avoid getting rammed by the massive dragon. At the last moment, Kaori hurled herself at the dragon, grabbing the end of it's tail. She climbed up the back and and balanced behind Ryu. He got up and turned around, drawing his own sword.

Kaori lunged first, aiming for his leg. He easily parried and swung his sword, striking her in the face with the flat of the blade. With a startled cry, Kaori was thrown from the dragon, plummeting from hundreds of feet in the air straight towards the hard ground.

"No!" Niel shouted, dashing forwards. He slid to a stop as her body collided with the ground, along with a loud mutilated crunch. All time stopped for Niel as he watched helplessly as she died, falling to her death.

His sword was weightless in his hand, and nothing moved. Until an earth shaking roar woke him from his trance, and he caught up with time. The dragon was flying straight towards him, a jet of white hot flames burst from it's mouth. Faster than the naked eye could see, Niel rolled away and sprang to his feet, jumped several feet in the air. He wrapped his arms and Ryu and yanked him off the dragon, they hit the ground and rolled a few feet before hopping up.

Ryu's hood had fallen off, again revealing his young face. He smiled, showing his pointed teeth. Niel charged, his blade a blurr as it lashed out and to strike Ryu, blocked it and thrust, grazing Niel's ribs. He didn't seem to notice, as he jumped over Ryu, swinging for his head. Ryu ducked and jumped to the side. They stood motionless for a moment before charging eachother again, locking their swords and turning it into a competition of strength.

Meanwhile, the others were focused on fighting the dragon. Rolling and lashing out with it's tail, snapping and roaring, and blowing white hot jets of flame all the while. Ness' hair caught on fire, and Zelda was attempting to put it out as the other's fought. Sigilant tried to get on the dragon's back to attack it's neck, but every time he did so the dragon either rolled or spun it's head around to bite him. Sigilant barely managed to stay alive, yet alone injure the frenzied dragon.

"I've got a plan," Sigilant said to the group."Nora.Fly up there and bring that thing down here." She nodded and flew up to confront the dragon."Zelda,Anna,Ness and Lucas,I'll distract the dragon.Wait for an opening and hit it with a salvo of fire.Link, follow that up with a light arrow." They all nodded and prepared themselves.

Nora flew up to the dragon and scraped it's side with her sword.Outraged,it turned and blew fire her way.She spun out of the way and flew around the dragon, spiraling up it.Looking at the fight from the ground,it looked like the dragon was trying to swat away an annoying fly.She eventually brought the dragon to the ground, where Sigilant jumped onto it's neck and bit into it.It roared and shook Sigil off.Sigil regained his footing and went toe-to-toe with the dragon. The dragon snapped it's mouth, trying to eat Sigilant like the first time they had fought, but Sigilant dodged the snaps. He rolled under the dragon's mouth after one snap and stabbed the dragon in the jaw.

This was their chance.Link stood at the ready with a light arrow, and the others began the fire salvo, softening up the dragon for the arrow. The fire hit directly in the middle of the dragon's body. The dragon roared in pain, but it wasn't over yet.Link let go of the arrow, shooting it straight through the dragon.Blood flowed from the wound like a waterfall. The dragon fell over, and Sigilant stabbed it in the brain to make sure it was dead.He kicked it for good measure.

Sigilant put his foot on top of the felled dragon's head and raised his right hand in the air with a victory shout. The other heroes joined in.One step closer to defeating Ryu.

Ryu and Niel heard the shouting, but didn't care. They were too preoccupied with killing each other to care.

Sigilant heard a sickening gurgle, and then a sharp crack of bone as the dragon locked it's teeth around Sigil's leg. He cried out in pain, stabbing at the dragon hoping to releasd it's grip. The dragon kept it's hold. It's whole body shuddered as it rose to it's feet, still holding Sigilant by the leg.

His clawed glove thinggies fell off his hand and landed in the dirt, and then a sharp pain ran the length of his body, and he realized he couldn't move. The other's sprinted into action, but a snarl escaped the dragon's mouth, and the same happened to them.

And now, puny vampire... You shall die!

The dragon flung it's head up, slightly releasing Sigilant, and then jumped up and snatched him out of the air. The dragon attempted to swallow Sigil, but he remained rock solid in the dragon's mouth, his feet pressed onto it's massive barbed tongue and his hands on the roof of it's mouth. It tried to blow fire, but he couldn't get a big enough breath.

They struggled like that for some time, before Ryu suddenly cried out.

"No! Spit him out!" He shouted. The dragon growled, and spit him half the distance to the other heroes. The dragon turned it's head to see why it's master had lost him his lunch. Niel stood above Ryu, pressing the tip of his own blade into his neck, blood trickled out, and Sigilant had to fight to remain calm, it had been long since he had fresh human blood.

Niel shouted orders and commands at Ryu until the dragon was several miles away, soaring over the tree tops. Then he threw Ryu's sword to the side and walked away, snatching up his own sword as he did so.

The dragon's hold over the heroes broke, and they rushed to Sigil's aid. Kilik kneeled next to him and began bandaging his wound where the dagon bit him. "Zelda will have to mend your bone, that is one power I do not posess." He lefted Sigil and carried him half a mile to the shade of the trees before setting him down.

"Im not helpless." Sigilant hissed. Zelda stepped forwards and laid a hand on his bloodied injury, murmering some strange words until a faint blue glow surrounded his leg. When she removed her hand, the injury had completely disappeared.

"You still need to be careful for a while, it's not fully healed." Zelda murmered.

The group was silent for many hours, another comrade dead...

Everyone ate in the amazingly-still-standing hut.Sigiliant glared at Kilik the entire time."What?" Kilik finally asked.Sigilant reached across the table, grabbed him by the collar, and pulled him close."WHERE THE HELL WERE YOU??!!" Sigilant yelled furiously, his red eyes glowing with anger."Watching," Kilik said."THE HELL???ONE OF US DIED AND YOU WERE JUST WATCHING??""What better way to see if an actor knows his script than to watch the play?Besides, what do you mean us?You're not even a hero yourself! The only thing that makes you cut out for this is that you were trained by Vir."Sigilant let go of him and put his head down in his arms.No one spoke. After awhile,Sigilant broke the silence again."Still have that thing?" he said, gesturing towards the piano sitting in the corner of the hut."Yes,actually," Kilik replied."It's one of the few things that I find myself screwing around with in my spare time.It gets boring over here sometimes.""Mind if I play it?" Sigilant asked."Sure,go ahead." Sigil got up and took his seat at the piano."What are you going to play," Kilik asked."

Sigilant answered."Oh," Kilik replied. Some of the heroes looked at each other, confused. Then Sigil's fingers moved over the keys, playing a subtle tune at first, then building the song up into something that sounding like it flowed straight from everyone's dreams. The song was relaxing, exactly what the heroes needed after today.Parts of it even felt like an inspiration, but went back to the dream river-like tune. Then it became a mixture of both. The song became the slow subtle inspiration, ending with an upwards scale.Sigilant got up and smiled."Love that song," he said, taking his seat at the table. He could see that everyone looked more relaxed.

He was pleased with that.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I really NEEDED an excuse to show people that song...I LOVE IT!!!

Sorry for taking forever D: I haven't been able to get on, the computer's been occupied ALL DAMN DAY SINCE WEDNESDAY.

"Where's Niel?" Ness suddenly asked, and the group went into a state of confusion, rushing around outside the hut and in the tunnels shouting his name. When they were searching long past midnight, they decided to send Sigilant and Amaterasu after him, Sigilant in case there was trouble, and Amaterasu because she could pick up his scent.

Issun sat on Ammy's head, not at all pleased that they had to go to the rescue.

"Why did the twirp run off anyways? He can't take that guy on his own, and he had the chance earlier, why go off now?" He squealed as Sigilant picked him off Ammy's head with his thumb and index finger, holding him infront of his face.

"Why don't you shut up or stay behind?" He hissed, and dropped him. Issun bounced a couple times before stopping, and he rolled to his feet. He huffed, and climbed up Ammy's front leg fur, sitting ontop of her head again.

Sigilant sighed and followed Amaterasu as she bolted off into the night, stopping to sniff the air every once in a while. They had to stop several times and retrace their steps when she lost the trail, but other than that their speedy journey went without delay.

Amaterasu suddenly stopped and started growling, causin Sigilant to run into a tree as he looked back. He got up off the ground, brushing the dirt from his back when he saw why she was growling. A few feet ahead lay Ryu's dragon, one eye was open, directing the incoming sunlight like a beam at Amaterasu.

Why do you come?

The same pain Sigilant had experienced the day before returned, running down his spine and spreading through his body, rendering him immoble.

"For Niel, you stupid over-sized lizard!" Sigilant hissed, amazed to see his mouth still worked.

Neither my Master or I had anything to do with his capture! Saooey sent the Ninjas, and they captured him. If you wish to rescue him from an impenitrable fortress, go ahead, comit suicide.

"If you had nothing to do with it, why do you reek of Niel!" Sigil grunted as the pain increased, then the dragon suddenly jumped into the air and flew off, releasing them.

The three walked back to the hut in disappointment."What are we gonna do?" Issun asked.Sigilant casually put put his hands on the back of his head as he walked."I have a plan," he assured."I'll share it when we get back."

The trio walked into the hut and were showered with questions.Sigilant calmed them down and assured them of his plan.Sigilant gestured them in close to hear a whisper.

"The dragon said that Saooey sent the ninjas," Sigilant whispered quietly."The dragon had Niel's smell all over him. That means that he captured Niel. That also means that ninjas had nothing to do with it." "Why does this matter, then?" Ness asked.Sigilant pointed towards the roof."Those ninjas might be here instead."

The ninja pulled out a tiny knife.Perfect for cutting into the roof and weakening it.He had to get the winged girl first. That would eliminate the pesky air support. Then they had to aim for the short ones, the girl in the pink dress, and the elf in the green clothing. That would eliminate ranged attacks. Then the signal would be given, and the ninjas that were below the hut would emerge from their hiding places and surround what was left.If this plan went wrong, then the signal would be given.Saooey's will be done. The ninja and the other ninja next to him finished carving weak spots in the roof.He looked up at the other six ninja and nodded. They had also finished their spots. He signaled them to jump.

"I can smell them now," Sigilant remarked."RAISE YOUR WEAPONS!!!"

From every spot in the roof, ninjas emerged. They had carved weakened circles into the roof and jumped into these circles, causing the circles to fall with them. The heroes had their weapons drawn and raised.Three ninjas were impaled.

"GET OUT OF HERE!!" a voice yelled.

The heroes all jumped out of the now caved in hut.

Nora flew into the air.

This plan had already gone awry. The ninja gave the signal, punching into the hut's flooring, and then jumping out of the hut.About ten ninjas emerged from the ground and followed their teammates out of the hut to face the heroes. The heroes that had ranged attacks surrounded the ones who didn't and sent fire and arrows alike at the ninjas.Nora flew down and grabbed the fighting heroes, flinging them out from behind the ranged ones. The heroes landed behind the ninjas and harassed them from behind.Within minutes the battle was over.

"Suit up," Sigilant advised."We're using these uniforms to get into Saooey's fortress."

The heroes quickly stripped the ninjas of their black jumpsuits and wandered off to a private place to change. They all met back at the hut, and after a brief summarization of the plan, started off to where the lead ninja said Saooey's castle was. Ness, Lucas, and Claus were too short for the suits, so they were all bunched up and wrinkly, making them look quite odd. Darunia was much to large for the suits, so he and Vivi volunteered to stay behind with Kilik. And Amaterasu could easily hide.

If they got lost, it wouldn't be hard to find it. It was the biggest castle in Ithwithi, and all the locals knew of it's whereabouts. So they had no trouble in getting there, though it took them until early afternoon.

The heroes were garbed in the stolen ninja suits, dashing through the trees. Every step fell silently, and they moved as quickly as possible. Within moments of stopping for a break by a small stream, they arrived at a field. The field had multple roads from different directions, each one some sort of trade route to other towns and cities.

The castle was surrounded by large brick buildings, each one he color of grey with a red metal-tiled roof. They were burn proof, a security matter for the citizens.

By pure luck, they stumbled across a small hole in the field, where Ness accidentally tripped and broke his nose. After a quick cartilage mending from Zelda, they descended down the hole, hoping it was the entryway the ninjas used.

"If we come across any guards, don't make a move until they do." Anna warned, walking alongside Sigilant. "What exactly do you plan to do once we're inside?" She whispered, leaning slightly over to him.

"I have no idea, I just make this stuff up as I go along." He whispered back.

The tunnel wasn't all dark, it had a set of torches to either side every few hundred yards, so they could see fairly well. And the tunnel wasn't a flithy, circular, animal burrow like most other tunnels, and it wasn't perfect formation like in the Dark Mountains. It was entirley different. The ground was was soft, yet firm, and made no noise, even if you stomped as hard as you could. The walls were made of brick, forming a tall arch that closed off a few feet above James' head, as he was the tallest.

After a while, they heard a "Halt!" Which echoed and reverberated off the walls, vibrating the entire tunnel. A pair of guards clad in silver armor, and a blue tunic with a purple eye on the chest underneath appeared in the distance. They were helmetless, and carried only a shortsword and a torch each. They both had shoulder length hair that looked incredibley greasy.

"Who goes there?" The voice was much quieter this time, and the two guards stopped a few yards away. The heroes halted, and waited.

"Don't move..." Sigilant whispered, loud enough for the others to hear, but not the guards.

"Bah! It's just the ninjas, Im sick of them, running back and forth through here everynight, did you see that guy they brought yesterday? The poor guy was so scared he couldn't speak!" The shorter guard said, standing a little ways behind the other guard.

"Mmhmm... You can go." The other guard said, and they both stepped to the side. The heroes hesitated a moment, then dashed forwards, and raced right past the guards. They gave looks of pure horror as the three PSI boys passed, short, fat, and wrinkly in their stolen suits. Amaterasu also had to hide behind them as they passed. The guards said nothing, but stood there against the wall and watched as they faded into the distance.

They soon came to a steel barred wooden door, a key hanging loosely on a hook to the wall on the left. Sigilant paid no notice of the key, and slashed through the lock with one of his claws. He shrugged when Anna dangled the keys infront of his face.

He opened the steel bars and turned the handle, the door opened with a click, and the heroes slipped inside.

"Did you hear that? The ninjas did take Niel!" Ness exclaimed.

Amaterasu growled, and Issun spoke. "Yeah? Well Ammy here thinks differently, and Im sure your vampire buddy thinks differently also." He remarked, and tsk tsked.

"Ryu's dragon definitley reeked of Niel, but the lead Ninja did also, Im not sure anymore..." They passed through a door, and froze when they realized what was inside.

There sat Ryu, garbed in the usual black cloak, only this time his hood was down and his belt was off, revealing his leather jerkin underneath.

"Just as Slithe predicted." He said with a small smile. His large broadsword lay on the table in front of him, he tapped the hilt lightly with his index finger as he spoke. "Niel's here, in this room. If it weren't for me the ninjas would have killed him, you should thank me."

"Liar! You killed Kaori!" Ness barked, taking a few bold steps forward. A growl and the sudden appearance of two large silvery eyes in the darkness caused him to take a step backwards.

Ryu chuckled evilly. "Aye, I killed her. But I did not kill Niel, and Im not killing you now." He said, now gripping the hilt of his broadsword.

"Where's Niel?" Link asked.

A figure walked out of the darkness, momentarily passing infront of the silvery eyes and shadowing them. Niel was weaponless, and was covered in various wounds ranging from small bruises to large gashes on his arms. He was expressionless, as was the average Niel.

"Who are you?" He asked, squinting in the candlelight.

Sigilant was the first to remove the head cloth, revealing his pale face and crimson eyes.

"We're here to rescue you." Ness said excitedly.

"How touching." A cold voice hissed, seemingly out of nowhere. "The poor boy's friends come to rescue him." It hissed again. The voice was a mixture of cold water hitting flames, and metal scraping on metal.

"Who are you?" Anna threw the question out in the open, hoping the owner of the voice would hear.

"Me? Why, I am Arazzi. Saooey's most powerful, and trustworthy counciler." The voice hissed again.

The room suddenly dropped in temperature, causing the relative warmth to disappear. The candle flickered and went out, and Niel started shivering. The heroes were protected from the cold by their stolen suits, and it had no effect on them.

A bluish light appeared in the room, near the table. At first it was dark, and dim, then gradually grew in light and size. It disappeared and in it's place stood a tall man in a blue robe, the same purple eye that was on the guards' chests were on his chest, stitched into the fabrics of his robe.

"Hello." He said with a sharp toothed smile. "Im sorry, but your rescue attempt has been in vain, if Niel takes one step outside this room..." He grinned evilly.

"YOU MONSTER!" Anna shouted, and lunged, swinging her sword at his head. He disappeared in a poof of smoke and reappeared behind her. A pulse of blue lightning came from his hand and threw Anna forwards, she bounced off the dragon's side, causing Sithe to growl deep in his throat.

Arazzi turned to face the others, a small smile playing on his lips.

"Now... where were we?"

Ness woke up to find himself lying on a hard, cold surface, with several deep lines in it. He realized it was bricks, and pushed himself up onto his hands and knees and looked around. He was in a large room, with a single torch outside what looked like bars. The others were scattered across the floor, still unconscious. He sighed, and rose to his feet.

He walked over to where Anna lay, and stood there for several minutes before leaning down and lightly tapping her on the shoulder. When she did not wake, he took a step back and shouted. "ANNA! WAKE UP! LINK'S DYING!" When that had no effect, he leaned down and whispered in her ear the same thing. He stood rocking from his heels to his toes as he waited for somebody to wake up. He had been rocking back and forth until his patience ended, then he took out his bat and used it to roll Anna over. When she still did not wake, he decided to go to somebody else.

He did something different to each and every one of them shouting at them, poking them in the stomach, whispering random things in their ears, and occasionally sitting on them. When he'd been at it for hours, and still nobody was awake, he layed back down where he was and went to sleep.

Sigilant awoke with his vision in a blur.He tried to look around.A painstaking thirst impaled him through the heart. His instincts kicked in.He tried to move, but realized that he was chained. He looked to find himself hoisted in the air by irons around his wrists. He looked down and saw irons around his ankles that were connected to taut chains,as well. The tightness of these chains didn't allow him to move.

"Ah,you're awake," Arazzi hissed.Sigilant smelled his blood. It drove him insane."A little thirsty today, are we?" Arazzi held up a mug to Sigilant's eyes.It had fresh human blood in it.He sloshed the blood around in the mug. Some of it spilled out and fell to the floor."Ah.What a mess I've made here."

"You know,I've decided that, since I've never had a vampire specimen before,I'd separate you from the others an study you. You're so calm when you're not thirsty...But when you're thirsty, you're an animal.I can see that very clearly. And what is the efficiency in using these, exactly?" He held up Sigilant's claws."Are they so that you can inflict more cuts upon your enemy and get more blood out of them?" He demonstrated by cutting his arm with the claws and letting it bleed.Sigilant struggled helplessly to get out of the chains. He whimpered."I'll take that as a yes.Hmm...You've been quite the little leader when you were satisfied. You pissed off Ryu's pet."

"I'm going to kill you," Sigilant foretold.

"Ah,that'll be a bit of a challenge, you see." Arazzi punched Sigilant in the stomach."You see,Ryu's too pathetic to feed the damn thing what it wants...You.Therefore,I'll do it for him."

Sigilant struggled even harder.Then...His energy faded. His eyelids sagged, and he drifted to sleep.

Sigilant awoke in a circular room.It looked like an arena.A moat outlined it and he could see the blue sky far above. This must have been inside a tower. He saw no sign of Arazzi. He looked up and saw a dot in the sky.The dot began to get bigger...and bigger...and then features began to define it.

The thirst kicked in again. The detailed dot began to take shape. The dragon! The dragon went faster and faster, and finally reached the top of the tower.Sigilant got down on all fours and jumped out of the way as the dragon thundered into the ground lightning-quick.The impact with the ground formed a dust cloud and caused an earthquake. The dragon stared deep into Sigilant.Deep into his human heart...His human feelings...But it was not a human that beat in Sigilant's heart at this moment. It was an animal.Sigilant knew he could move.He put up a ruse to show that he couldn't move,to make the dragon overconfident. The dragon drew back, breathing in,and shot forth a huge salvo of fire. The flamethrower continued for a few seconds. The dragon stopped, and looked to confirm Sigilant's death. He saw no body.He looked around and found no vampire. He looked up.

Sigilant shot forward onto the dragon's head, impaling it.The dragon roared in pain.Sigilant holstered the claws and straddled the dragon's head.He reached down and pulled the dragon's eyes out.The dragon roared in even more pain and shook his head in every direction.Sigilant was flung off of the dragon, but he executed a back-flip and landed on all fours.

The dragon furiously ran around and attacked in Sigilant's direction, but was met with a scrape across the length of it's body.It was met with more scrapes.More and more.Sigilant jumped onto the dragon's head and punched the dragon multiple times in the brain with his claws.

The dragon fell to the ground. It only had a few seconds to live.

"Who's the puny one now,you filthy dragon," Sigilant remarked as the dragon's life drifted away.

Sigilant bit into the body while the blood was still fresh and fed.He fed and fed and fed. Finally, humanity had been restored to Sigilant's mind, and he got up and wiped his mouth on his sleeve. He holstered his claws and looked around.Still no sign of Arazzi.

Sigilant tried to look harder, looking for small details in the hollowed cylinder that he stood in,when he drifted to sleep.

"Ah crap." James remarked as he finally awoke rubbing his head. " It's about time one of you woke up!" James looked over and saw Ness tapping his toes. " I mean I even took a nap when I couldn't wake you guys up and I was still waiting." Ness said as James realized his arms were chained. " Where are we?" James asked "In a dungeon as far as I can tell." Ness replied " You think we can get out of here?" Ness asked " Quite please." James said he closed his eyes and concentrated. *Chink* James has succeded in breaking his chains. " How did you do that?" Ness asked he knew James was strong but he wasn't that strong. " Like most martial artists I can concentrate to do amazing things but since I'm not a master I'm pretty limited." James replied " Well how about concentrating and busting the wall." Ness remarked.

" James came over and looked at the wall feeling and knocking on it. " I don't think so. Not even Darunia can dent this." James explained " Besides we don't know what's behind it, the only way ut is through the bars and that we need either Darunia bend them enough for you to get out or Sigilant to unlock it." James said realizing the thickness and strength of the bars. " Either that or wait for the others to wake up and see if they have a plan." James said. He knew about brute force but when it came to strategy he was lost he was good at following orders not giving them.

Sigilant woke with a start, he leapt to his feet and looked around madly. He spotted Arazzi almost instantly near the dragon he killed earlier. But it didn't look nearly the same.

It was mangled beyond recognition, and it was incredibley flat due to him sucking it's blood.

Arazzi tisk tisked and turned to face Sigil.

"So, you managed to kill my clone? How did you like it's blood. Good?" Arazzi did his evil sharp-toothed grin.

"Clone..?" Sigil asked, confused.

"Yes. Sithe donated a few gallons of blood, and I created a clone. You're lucky it wasn't the real Sithe, he wouldn't have been so dumb." Arazzi paused to turn and kick the clone in it's stomach.

"Amazing how sharp your clawed gloves are... to cut through dragon scales..." Sigilant gasped as Arazzi held up his claws and examined them in the light. He grasped at his belt where they were surposed to be strapped, but they were gone.

The distant flap of wings alerted Sigil, and he looked to the sky. Just as before, there was a dot near the top, growing steadily larger until at last it was Sithe, on his back rode Ryu, behind him was Niel and Kaeli.

The dragon landed softly, it's muscles rippling as it absorbed the impact in it's muscular legs. Then Sigilant noticed just how much larger he was from the dead dragon.

Ryu jumped off of the dragon and landed perfectly, bending his knees slightly as he did. "Hey Sigil." He called, and walked over to Arazzi.

He moved so fast he was a blur, Arazzi was much to slow to react, and Ryu buried his blade up to the guard in his throat, it protruded from the back of his neck.

"Never... lay a hand on my dragon." Ryu stepped back and placed his left foot on Arazzi's shoulder, then slowly slid his sword out of the man's neck. He walked over to Sithe, wiping the blood off of his sword with a cloth.

"What are you waiting for? Come on!" He called, and climbed up the dragon's right foreleg.

Sigilant sighed, and looked around the tower. The only exit was up, so he sighed, and approached the dragon. He snatched his claws off of the ground as he walked.

Careful where you put those. Sithe snapped, baring his fangs. Sigilant smiled and climbed on.

Ness and James had waited hours more before anyone else woke up, trying to figure out how to escape. They tried to bend the bars, but they wouldn't budge. Discouraged, they waited for the rest to wake up.

Amaterasu growled, and stared intently at part of the wall. Issun stood on her head, looking equally worried.

"I think we should stay away from the wall..." He managed, before the whole wall shattered.

Massive claws wrapped around the bottom edges of the gaping hole, and Sithe's head appeared, glinting in the light.

Then Niel appeared, walking down the dragon's snout and stepping onto the floor.

"Time to go." He said. The heroes instantly moved to the hole where Sithe was hanging from. They weren't very far up, far enough to where you either have to climb or fly, but not far.

"We can jump that." James said, and before anyone could stop him, he took two quick steps and launched himself out of the hole. He landed on his feet and rolled, 100 feet below. He lay on his back and laughed as Sithe helped them down, holding them in his huge claws.

"How fast are you together?" Ryu asked. The only other now remaining on his dragon was Kaeli, for he was unconscious.

"We can reach Kilik's hut in a few hours." Anna replied.

"Good." Ryu nodded, and Sithe took off, carrying Ryu with him.

"Anna, we're fast... but not that fast! That's like... a bajillion miles per hour!" Ness complained.

"Just MOVE!" Link shouted, and they all dashed forwards, running at unhuman speeds.

They reached the hut in only a few hours, a little breathless, but still able to go on for miles more. They found Ryu and Sithe up on the edge of the canyon, looking down on them. Kaeli was lying in the doorway, propping himself up on his elbows. Sithe growled, and he and Ryu vanished in a storm of dust, soaring off to somewhere unknown.

Kaeli was covered in bruises and cuts, none of which were serious, but they greatly weakened him. Zelda and Anna had them mended in moments, before they noticed his back. He had clearly been whipped, for there were fresh welts, as thick as a sword hilt and stretching across the length of his back, oozing blood and pus down his back. They cleaned it and mended it with magic, along with Claus' help, and he was once more whole, though still weak.

The next days were spent with training, much harder than before, and much more tiring. Kilik even managed to get Kaeli to join them in their daily training sessions.

After the shadow clones had become nothing but armed bugs, Kilik had surprisedt hem by challenging himself, all at once they attacked him. And every single one was disarmed and given a few good lumps and bruises as reminders for their battle.

Kilik began to slow and weaken, and gradually, they began to be a real challenge for him.

One day during their training session with Kilik, Ryu showed up unexpectedly and decided to join them. With Ryu's blade they managed to finally defeat Kilik, and they celebrated their victory.

"You'd be a great help in this battle. You've already proven yourself untrustworthy to Saooey, but also to us. It's time to choose sides." Kilik said, confronting Ryu. But before he could answer, Kilik turned and entered his hut. "Think about it." He said, vanishing into he tunnels.

" Well anyone else like we might have a problem?" James asked " What do you mean?" Darunia asked back. " Well even if we beat Saooey we don't belong here. Denlem is gone and who knows where else may have went with it. I mean for all we know Hyrule might be toast too." James was strangly in a bad mood, normally he would never say this type of thing but something was bothering him deep down that he wasn't telling.

Darn D: I was secretly hoping nobody would bring that up. More details on my part T_T 'Tis okay though. It gives me a reason to make a HUGE FRIPPING POST.

Sesshomaru walked in silence. His body was somewhere near the center fo Hyrule, but his mind was elsewhere. Jakin continuously chattered with Rin, who was riding on Ah-Uhn, occasionally falling behind and then having to run to catch up.

His mind was in another dimension, somewhere far, far away and much more different than any place he'd ever been, and he'd been in some strange places in his time. His mind kept drifting off to the strange group of people he had encountered weeks earlier, and his pathetic Half-Demon of a brother InuYasha. Visions kept entering his mind of a strange red lightning, that penetrates the very soul and steals it away, sealing it in the weapon used.

Only one person entered his mind that had that kind of power, Saooey of Ithwithi. Sesshomaru had stumbled upon Ithwithi when he was dueling an extrodinarily powerful demon, he had underestimated him and paid the price. Luckily InuYasha showed up and defeated the demon with the Tetsusaiga. Forged from his father's fang, the most fearsomly powerful demon to ever have lived. Another demon's power had eventually grown to such magnitude, the entire region was covered in darkness. His father had gone to defeat the demon, and was awarded a mortal injury, only managing to seal the demon's power.

After the duel, Sesshomaru reteated deep into his own territory to let his body recover. He leaned on a tree, not realizing the aura it eminated until it was too late, and he was sucked into Ithwithi.

There he had spent all his time trying to find a way back to Japan, and he had found it. The tree's twin, a much larger tree, was the way out. Unfortunately, instead of transporting him to his home, it took him to Denelm. Where he met his brother and the other's, who knew themselves as 'Heroes'.

Such strange mortals. Sesshomaru thought. They are slightly part demon, which grants them their power. If they were truly heroes, they'd be much more powerful then they are, and they wouldn't have been nearly eaten by oversized bugs.

He stopped and turned. Though his eyes saw Rin helping Jaken untangle himself from a tree root, his mind saw InuYasha falling battle, the vision kept repeating itself. Lowering Sesshomaru's otherwise very alert nature.

After Rin and Jaken had caught up, Sesshomaru started walking again.

"Halt!" A deep, scaley voice boomed, wrenching Sesshomaru's vision away. He did not halt, however. He kept walking until he heard Rin scream. He drew Tokijin with his good arm, turned, and shot a wave of blue demonic power that destroyed the Lizalfos holding a sword to Rin's thrat. The sword dropped to the ground, half of the hilt melted into nothing.

"Come, Rin." He called, sliding Tokijin back under his sash. Rin nodded, and ran forwards. "Jaken!" Sesshomaru barked. The small, green demon crawled forwards and onto his feet, two giant lumps were on his head, his prized staff was split in half, and his eyes spun.

"C-c-coming Lord...." He groaned, taking a few wobbly steps before falling down. Sesshomaru started walking, leaving Rin and Jaken. Rin quickly helped Jaken onto Ah-Uhn and sent him into the sky, then she ran to catch up with Sesshomaru.

"Do not let such things trouble you." Kilik said, suddenly appearing from his hut. He carried a scroll, it looked old and the paper was faded.

"This is a map of all the Old trees of Ithwithi. Most of them are connected to other worlds. Such as Denelm. A tall man traveling alone used this to get to Denelm, do you know him? He had white fur over his shoulder, a white kimono, long bluish white hair, and he was missing his left arm."

"Sesshomaru... InuYasha's brother. He saved us once." Zelda said, sounding choked.

"InuYasha?" Kilik asked.

"What about my brother." A new voice said. They all looked up the dry river to see Sesshomaru, walking down it. The small girl in the orange kimono was beside him, skipping happily. A large green demon with two heads swooped over them and landed off to the side, a smaller green demon riding on it's back.

"Sesshomaru." Kilik said, nodding his head.

"Why do you speak of my brother? Has something befallen him?" Sesshomaru asked.

"He's dead..." Zelda said, sounding more choked up than usual.

"The red lightning cannot harm him. He is Half-Demon, more than powerful enough to resist such a petty attack. Saooey is behind this, I've come to destroy him." Sesshomaru scanned their faces, they showed no emotion but for Zelda, who seemed relieved at the news, no matter how crazy it sounded.

Drios sat on the front porch of Vir's house, the old man was dead, but Drios swore he could hear his ghost whispering from his grave. He had inspected it several times, but it always stopped when he drew near. Then he would return to his weapon forging, hoping to take his mind off of it. Then only moments later it started up again.

After a few weeks Drios learned to ignore it, and he peacefully forged the best weapons he could every day to keep busy. Forging several weapons for each of his friends, except for Ness, Lucas, and Claus. Who used PSI powers to attack, and Ness had a baseball bat, so they were all good.

But today it was different, when he woke up to go outside and train with his weapons to make sure they were perfect, the whispering voice was louder than ever, and InuYasha's grave was bulging. The dirt falling everywhere, the flower that he had planted was laying next to it, totally uprooted. And in it's place was a clawed hand, waving franticly.

Scared half to death, Drios grabbed a shovel and ran to the grave, digging around the hand until he reach a red arm. He dug more and more in a frenzied attempt to free the arm, and was surprised to find a body with the arm. Feeling very foolish, he dug to where he thought InuYasha's head was. He was amazing to find that there was a perfect arm width tunnel from his flower to where his head was. InuYasha's head popped up from the dirt, shaking his dirty white hair.

"YOU BURIED ME ALIVE!!" He screamed, struggling to free himself. Drios screamed and fell backwards, landing hard on his rear. InuYasha dug himself out an stood barefooted on the soil. He was covered in dirt, his hair was was far browner than Drios remembered, and his kimono was stained in places. His face was especially dirty, and red due to the little air he had. Luckily he had the tunnel to supply him.

"I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU GUYS!! I BET IT WAS ANNA! WHERE IS SHE?! I'LL RIP HER HEAD OFF!" He shouted, dashing forwards and bursting into the house. It only took a few moments for him to come back out, looking slightly better, but still filthy.

"Where is everybody?" He asked loudly, still angry.

"T-they all left... weeks ago... to train with Vir's nephew." Drios managed.

"What's the matter? Virn not good enough?" He stomped down the stairs and stood on the grass.

"He's... dead..." Drios murmered.

"Oh? The old guy didn't make it huh? Well that's too bad. I was beginning to like 'im. So, where'd they go?" InuYasha asked, much more calmly and quietly.

"They went south, to the canyon. Kilik lives in it." Drios answered.

"Oh? Well then bundle up those weapons and get ready. We're going after them. Just as soon as I've had a bath. I'll be back." InuYasha dashed into the woods, running much faster than any human could possibly go.

With a sigh, Drios got a wagon and parked it next to the pile of weapons. He took his anvil and set it in the back, as well as his hammer and Ball on a chain. Then wrapped up each weapon individually and stacked them up, tying them down with a large chain across their top, and around the open part of the wagon so they wouldn't slide out. Then he took a handle in each massive hand, and waited.

InuYasha returned soon after he stocked the wagon, looking clean and refreshed. His kimono was slightly stained, but much better, and his hair was acually white again. He stuck Tetsusaiga in his sash and stood tall.

"You ready? Don't fall behind." InuYasha said, and then dashed into the trees. Drios followed, running as fast as his muscular legs could carry him while hauling a wagon full of weapons.

Sesshomaru had long since gone, and the heroes had resumed their training. Ryu had suddenly had to leave to attend unknown business, so their training session with Kilik ended in failure. Instead of the usual race, waterfall dive, and exercises, they had to do all knew stuff. Which included climbing up the cliff with only a single fifty-foot rope and a giant rock attatched to each ankle.

Nora surprised everyone by flying, with all that weight, as well as her rope, all the way to the top. Then sat on the edge and waited while the others reached her. She high fived them as they made it. Link made it first, collapsing on the top, shaking and heaving. Nora patted his back gently while he recovered.

James made it second, barely in better condition. He lay on his back and covered his eyes from the sun with his arm while he tryed to slow his breathing and keep his breakfast down.

Then came Niel, struggling with all the weight to make it over the last edge. He eventually pulled himself up, and collapsed near James. Laying face down on the sandy ground.

Sigilant was fourth, groaning and whimpering. "I need blood... Im too weak..." He murmered. And stood on the edge to watch the others' progress.

Darunia came after him, then Anna, then Zelda, Ness, Lucas, Claus, Amaterasu and Issun, Vivi flew, but slowly. And last came Kaeli. Not yet fully recovered.
