Hyrule.net feels...different...

TML, i feel the EXACT same way....

I would say everything i feel.....but the Mods would vaporize me =O

well, I've been a mod the whole time and I havn't changed anything I do, so that hasn't changed per se...

in response to above:

1)No-one used coloured posts from before, I know roughly what time TML seems to be talking about and that was WAY before anyone was using coloured posts, possibly Mr Triforce making the odd fancy comment but that's it

2)In regards to me, see comment above, other mods I can't talk for.

3)This is because of your problems with 5 and 7, you're contributing quite heavily to this yourself

4)You shouldn't have a problem with new members, you were a newbie here once and you seem to rant at new members when quite often you're being even worse.

5)You having problems with other members are your OWN problems, this is why you were suspended. You need to sort these problems out yourself to help solve the whole problem.

6)I havn't seen anyone do this... I mean it's not like there's much competition, the evil army is HUGE

7)See 5

8)Mods sort this out, it happens all the time, we move them to the right spots when we see them. This has always been the case though

9)Sites very rarely change their whole colour scheme, maybe after a redesign, but it hasn't really been long enough to warrant one, anyway, green is a very Zelda-y colour

10)People constantly changing names would cause a lot of confusion, I mean imagine what would happen in the real world if everyone changed their names every month in the real world?

"hi bob?"

"what no I'm Fred"

"Didn't you used to be called Bob?"

"yeah that was last month, keep with it Paul"

"what? I've never been called Paul"

"who the heck are you then?"

1.Less people come one.

Part of the reason probably is that they got to busy and couldnt come on.

2.The New people that we get seem to fade in and out.

3.Past people seemed to have just stop coming.(or at least a majority)

4.Bickering.

(as previously stated)

------

May some people just got tired of here.

Things always were a blast when i joined.

Though even then.

Things started to get more boring by the day.

And now.

1.Constant bickering.

2.Dark secrets between everyone.

3.Flaming

4.The cold,Emptiness.

5.Some of the fun people left.

@TBEB-No. That won't do anything. Everybody else has given up on wars

We have fallen into a pit. Things were fun when we all use to actually have wars and stuff in the "Its Time to choose sides" Topic. :(

its true hyrule.net has fallen

please Dustin DO SOMETHING PLEEEEEEEEEEEEES!!!!!!!!!!!

What he said.

Hyrule.Net is... Umm... Dying... My reasons for this (Not in any particular order):

1. No coloured posts

2. Mods seem to abuse powers more than normal

3. Constant bickering

4. Noobs

5. Fierce Muffin

6. People taking armies too seriously

7. People leaving insulting comments on other profiles, PADDYMAC.

8. People being stupid around the forums, including double posting, making topics in the wrong areas, etc.. I actually found a topic in the RP FORUM ASKING PEOPLE ABOUT HOW MUCH THEY LIKED TP!

9. Green gets boring after a while... How about we change to... Pink. (Let's just pretend I didn't say that. That's it, walk AWAY from the computer... )

10. Not being able to change names earlier makes boredom on the forums.

We all used to be friends on here... We never used to fight. Sure, we had the friendly fight once in a while, but that was all good fun, wasn't it?

I think I'm part of the reason for Hyrule.Net falling apart... If I'd never joined, half of this would never have happened... There's only a handful of people I could even really talk to on here now...

I should leave...

1. actually technically you can have colored posts but for highlighting parts of a post... NOT ALL.

2. haven't really seen it...

3. yes, but you guys that are fighting need to solve it yourselves.

4. nothing to do I mean if we were to ban them all that would be abusing our power wouldn't it?

5. So what he hasn't fully matured yet :< so he is a 13 yr. old porn/hentai freak but there are a lot more in the world.

6. Indeed but what can I say? maybe you are overreacting?

7. Simple delete them.

8. Everyone has at least done that sometime between now and when you first joined (unless they are recently new) It's a type of do and learn type of thing... you post in the wrong forum you learn where it should go.

9. Hopefully sometime this year (not saying when) it may change (not saying it ever will) green has been the main color for hyrule.net for YEARS now... I guess you can kinda call it tradition.

10. That defeats the whole purpose of sticking with a name and makes you think real hard of a good name before you go and waste your changes. (make a list and think over them) maybe we can set something up to where you can purchase a ticket for 1 name change for like 1,000 rupees (since it cuts 83 days) You guys have it easy... I can't change my name for 183 days... (that's 100 days more than you) yet you don't see me complaining.

@ TML

Many people have matured over the years... learning new things do new things and just don't find time to get on hyrule.net... It's a fact that everyone changes over the years... exactly like I did... and hyrule.net helped along with it. 2 years ago I was not like I am today... no where close. people change... people dislike the things they used to like... people forget about the things they liked... it all happens to everyone... the major topper would be puberty where people change a lot and start chasing girls... so that the girl in his arms is his new hyrule.net. thus deleting this hyrule.net temporarily or forever. I mean... I've been a member for 2 years now... I could maybe quit this year maybe next who knows... I honestly I hope I don't because I truly love hyrule.net dearly. nothing will change it (unless dustin deletes it D:). (No I'm NOT leaving)

i don't see any rivalry in those posts....

but anyways, if you guys really think that it's getting boring, why don't you find another site? say an FF fan site? see if it's any better after the first few weeks. the reason it gets boring, you notice more of what's going on.

I agree with that ;)

Look we all getting older and being get a age like 12-18 We make other feelings... so now we have a feeling as boring we just get that age...

But... Maybe Hyrule.net needs a NEW design? xD

But Dustin Upgrade his computer for the sever so I think that will be included than :)

or we just have a too long wait on hyrule online? xD

And yeah ...

One thing is real some members reaction some rude sometimes... and that sucks xD

But Hyrule.net needs to be alive!

So if you think it is bored... what is bored or what needs to be add Say it! than dustin could add or change it ;) (Maybe)

hyrule.net may be just ok right now, but it looks like things are going to pick up soon with the new server and hyrule online being worked on. I'm just crossing my fingers and hoping everything gets better.

agreed, I myself miss the 4th piece topic because it kept going and we had something to do, but since we stopped and the site began to change, it's quite dull. Well, I say we start looking for ways to put this site back to how it was in 2006! Now that was a good time for this site!

I agree that Hyrule.net has changed. When I joined, there were more people on in an hour then there are in a day today. More people to talk to, and the topics were ongoing and hilarious. I think that the change is because not many of the new members get on that much and make an impression. they join and then they post once a week. That's it. Everyone knows each other, and there's really just not much to talk about. And many people have matured and don't react to things the way they used to. And so many members are pretty much gone. I haven't seen Keaton, Goron Merchant, Mr. Triforce, and many other people in a long time.

I miss whenever I joined. It was really great...

It just feels weird.

We have over 4,000 registered members, and only a small percentage of them are active. I visit some members profiles, and a lot of them are never on or haven't been on for a while, or barely even post. It would be so nice if hyrule.net had a lot more active members-think of all the posts we'd have, all the topics, and such. I hope we can continue to make this site even better so more members will be active.

Well, things have changed. Hyrule.net has, and is, changing. Members here are changing, or already changed. Even I've changed. Looking back at my first posts when I fist joined in 2006, I was 14 and still a kid inside (And immature at times). Now, I've got a girlfriend, I'm going to be turning 16 next month, I'm getting a job for the summer, taking after schol tutoring, and starting to become an adult. Most members here are probably doing the same. However,I'm sure more members will be on during the summer. No school= more hyrule.net...right? Mpst likely old and new members will catch up then. :) I do miss some of the older members though...ah the memories. :D
