Aside from the obvious reason SirJoshizzle has already said, that it was hyped too much and people expected too much as a result, , I feel the end game could've done with more work.

Having the 2nd to last dungeon being relatively short and the very last is particularly short. It didn't even have the usual repeat mini sections of all the other dungeons. THe only very good piece at the end is the boss battle, which is done brilliantly in the several stages. However, there is no build up to it. This is by no means to say that the game is bad, it's all very good, it's just some bad placement of effect near the end...

I was quite partial to Morpheel and Argorok, Chameleon.

But yes, this game was hyped up past the level of homemade God-on-a-stick.

Which isn't the only reason why it was disappointing.

Nintendo had a bunch of good ideas for the finishing product that never made it in.

And that ticks me off. =(

I hated Morpheel, and Argorok too. I mean come on you can't compleatly hate a game for the little things. Am I right?

No, but you completely hate a game for stupid things...

Being silent now.

*mumbles under breath.* So yeah. Is Morpheel like some sort of decendant to Morphia?

You mean Morpha?

The name similarities... I haven't quite figured it out yet.

Most of the time, when a part of a name recurs with things such as the Stal- family, you can figure out what that part of the name means by looking at the similarities.

But Morpha was an amoeba and Morpheel was an eel. >(

They're both underwater bosses.

But that's all. >(

I think the names have something to do with the fact that they share a common weakness, their eyeball.

Actually, remember how you beat Morpha? Of course you do. You hookshot the eye that is traveling through the amorphous water-sort-of-tentacle-ness, then you hit it with your sword when the Hookshot brings it to you. Morpheel's first stage is, liek, exactly the same, but with actual tentacles.

Could you seriously not figure this out?

For shame.

I liked the Stallord battle, too. It's great.

Yeah. If there was one thing TP got right, it was the boss battles.
