How do you watch anime?

The only dubs I watch if there is an alternetive is abridged series :-P

Depends on the show. Some of them I started out watching on Adult Swim, like Inu-Yasha, Wolf's Rain, and FMA, so I became used to the voice actors on the English dub. Others, like Samurai 7, I watch only in Japanese with subtitles. And with others I switch back and forth, which is how I've watched The Wallflower and The Twelve Kingdoms.
If I like them alot, I'll watch them more than once, which lets me hear it both ways. That way I can decide which way I like it best.
(But Kurosawa would turn over in his grave if he heard you watching Samurai 7 in English; I think it doesn't respect the original film. So watch it in Japanese, people. Please.)
