What's The Meaning Of Life?

There's no deep meaning to life unless you feel compelled to look for it. Just live your life and enjoy it, that's the ticket.

The meaning of life is not to become STREETIGHT PEOPLE.

LIVING JUST TO FIND EMOTION;

HIDING,

SOMEWHERE IN THE NIGHT.

SOME WILL WIN, SOME WILL LOSE

SOME WERE BORN TO SING THE BLUES

OH, THE MOVIE NEVER ENDS

IT GOES ON AND ON AND ON AND ON

DON'T STOP

BELIEVIN'

HOLD ON TO THE FEELIN'

STREETLIGHT

PEOPLE

DON'T STOP

BELIEVIN'

AlsoGannz, that's medieval Latin. =(

I'm supposing it's apparently different than the Latin you take.

I WOULDN'T KNOW, THOUGH. I'M NOT THE HYRULE.NET EXPERT ON LATIN LIKE YOU ARE.

GOSH.

Sahaqiel

I don't see why it would be different. You just interpreted it as the loose, un-literal translation, "The year of our Lord," WHEN IT OBVIOUSLY SAYS, "In the year of the Lord." There is no "our" there, though it is often wedged in there for reasons people may have, and "anno" is in the ablative case, which pretty much implies an "in" in that context. >:(

Gosh, I love being jerkishly superior.

The purpose of life is to find the end of Pi (3.141592653)

I dunno if that's the meaning of life, but maybe by the time we get that done we'll have had some sort of revelation!

But the end of pi is is neverending, and is always a different number.

Therefore, the end of pi is everything.

Everything is a part of life, and the universe.

The answer to Life, the Universe, and Everything is 42.

Holy snaps, the Ultimate Question is, "What is the end of an irrational number?"

...

I hope I didn't destroy the universe.

Saha, there is no end to an irrational number! That's what makes them irrational! You look at that number and say, "Hey, there is no end to you! That's not rational!"

That's what I was making a joke at. :(

Besides, isn't the concept of 42 being the Answer considered irrational?

IT'S LIKE THEY'RE TWO NEGATIVES THAT CANCEL EACH OTHER OUT TO MAKE POSITIVE.

The meaning of life is to divide by zero.

Without causing the universe's implosion!

There is math discussion going on in here without my knowledge. I do not approve.

That said, there's a reason irrational numbers are irrational, and that reason is this. A rational number is one that can be expressed as a ratio of two integers. Not all numbers that have non-terminating decimals are irrational, but all irrational numbers have non-terminating decimals. Since pi has been proven to be irrational, pi therefore does not "end".

It's the maths of the meaning of life.

Maths solves everything.

The Mona Lisa was painted using math after all.

So. Are you all saying that Pi ends with 42?
