I don't see why it would be different. You just interpreted it as the loose, un-literal translation, "The year of our Lord," WHEN IT OBVIOUSLY SAYS, "In the year of the Lord." There is no "our" there, though it is often wedged in there for reasons people may have, and "anno" is in the ablative case, which pretty much implies an "in" in that context. >

There is math discussion going on in here without my knowledge. I do not approve.

That said, there's a reason irrational numbers are irrational, and that reason is this. A rational number is one that can be expressed as a ratio of two integers. Not all numbers that have non-terminating decimals are irrational, but all irrational numbers have non-terminating decimals. Since pi has been proven to be irrational, pi therefore does not "end".
