Day 1

It was an ordinary day in #Zelda, and everyone was engaging in their usual private and questionable activities. As always, everyone looked into chat every five minutes to see if anyone had posted, but no one ever does, except for noobs and Muff. But suddenly, Dustin rushed in and changed the topic!

* Dustin has changed topic to 'Government informants have infiltrated the chat! Everyone quit IRC, quickly!'

Many noobs left, but everyone else missed the warning because they were caught up in their own worlds (and Dustin stayed because a captain is always the last to leave his ship). Shortly after this, the topic was changed again.

* FBI has changed topic to 'All your base are belong to us. lolol but srsly. If any of you try to leave, it will be taken as an admission of guilt and you'll be arrested, 'kay?'

Learning they were trapped, everyone eventually changed their nicks, including the informants. Luckily, since everyone happened to be using the Java chat (which was being defective that day), no one knew who had what nickname.

Shortly afterwards, the crackdown began. With their new government hookups and their 1337 skills, the informants shut down all PMs in the chat. The topic was locked. However, the chatters had formulated a plan for just such an occasion, because Dustin is afraid of being v&. Once a day, they would take a vote, and the chatter with the majority vote would be kickbanned. In this way, the chat could resolve its own problems fairly.

Deciding on a time limit of 72 hours, the chat began making their decisions. Who will get banned, and who will win?
