Posted 28 Nov 2008 (edited) I never played it, but the editorial makes a Wii remake sound realy cool. Your thoughts? Ha, I spelled Luigi wrong! Edited 28 Nov 2008 by Morihaus Man Bull (see edit history)
Posted 28 Nov 2008 Yeah, lol. But I think we all get the picture. But no. I don't think they should. The game isn't even that old. It's fine making remakes of really old games nobody can find anymore, but Luigi's Mansion wouldn't be hard to get your hands on. It'd just be a waste of money. It's too new. Posted 28 Nov 2008 I can't form an opinon on that. Sure it would be kinda cool to make it better, but make it longer. Besides is Luigi stupid enough to fall for that again?
Posted 28 Nov 2008 Yeah. You could make a sequel, but a remake just wouldn't do. I haven't played it, but it looks and sounds good. I might try and find it some time. I also want to find a copy of Wind Waker. I lost mine and I want to play it again. You could make a sequel with similar gameplay. Maybe not a 'save Mario' one though. As, like you said YLA, Luigi wouldn't fall for that twice.

Posted 28 Nov 2008 Who's Juigi? (It says Juigi's Mansion in the thread topic) Are you kidding? It's Luigi. He misspelled it.
Posted 28 Nov 2008 Title Fixed. And as Bathykolpian stated, I sequel would be better than a remake.
Posted 28 Nov 2008 What would the sequel be like though? What do you think the plot would be like and what the Wii controller would bring to the game? What do you think? (I'm trying to keep this topic going. It doesn't seem like one that would last very long no offence.)
Posted 29 Nov 2008 I say they should remake it. I would be better for the wii, but they can't change it too much.
Posted 29 Nov 2008 Odin? :wow: Anyway. I've never played it. But I didn't know it was one of the first games for the Gamecube. That makes it a harder decision. It's a classic now. Maybe they should.
Posted 29 Nov 2008 (edited) It'd just be a waste of money. No, it wouldn't reel in enough money for Nintendo, so I agree with Bathykolpian Edited 29 Nov 2008 by Frost Giant (see edit history)
Posted 29 Nov 2008 I'd say it would be a good move for them, what he guy said about a co-op and with the technical abilities of the Wii, it could make a great game. The co-op where one person holds the flashlight, and the other uses the vacuum is a great idea. I think a game like this would draw in hardcore gamers who are put off by the focus on hardware and software which targets others. A sequel would be essentially the same as the origional, and the wii remote makes it worth recreating. Its like they made the game too soon.
Posted 29 Nov 2008 The co-op where one person holds the flashlight, and the other uses the vacuum is a great idea. That would make the game too easy.
Posted 29 Nov 2008 Besides Wind Waker, Luigi's Mansion was one of the first games I got for my G-cube. I still crack up when he yells "Maaarrrio!"
Posted 29 Nov 2008 More like a SEQUEL! That'd be great on Wii. Make it longer too with more complicated gameplay. XD
