Posted 13 Feb 2007 I think I know what they mean by last as we know it. Think about the split timeline theory... We've been on 1 timeline for the last few games, ever since OOT. Maybe they're making 1 for the other timeline. therefore, it's different than we know it. It will have nothing to do with the flood at all. It would be the game after the end of OOT, after Link is grown, and Hyrule is still half destroyed. So instead of the timeline where link goes back in time, this is what happens after ganon is destroyed... ...or something like that... Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Posted 20 Feb 2007 What do you mean by the flood, aren't they enemies from Halo or something. But anyway I really hope that the next Zelda game on the Wii isn't cell shaded. I almost never played WW because of the cartoonish graphics, and that's saying something. I'm a huge Zelda fan. Also I agree with the person from the last page. The thought that the Zelda series might coming to a close is a huge worry for me, and i'm sure many other people also. Honestly, the cel-shading in Wind Waker was a big reason as to why I liked the game. It honestly would have worked without the cel-shading, and yes, I probably would have preferred it, but nonetheless, the cel-shading made Wind Waker feel like it was one of the 2D Zelda games in a 3D world. And for that reason, and many more, it was a good game. Now then, I haven't heard much about Zelda Revolution (most of which was from this forum ) but the Zelda series ending? Hm... It's possible. It'd make me sad, since Zelda is my favorite game series, but all good things must come to an end... or else you'll just kill the franchise entirely. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Posted 20 May 2007 I think they will make it completely new. Like a mix between OoT and WW or something like that. But I hope it won't get the same graphics like WW cause I didn't like it. But it doesn't matter how it will be. I'll buy it!! ahemm.... P.S. Maybe we should call it Zelda Wii and not zelda revolution. No offense but Wii sounds cooler lol.
