Christmas and Poor people

Is it just me, or does Christmas feel like the national 'make you realize just how poor you are' holiday.. <_<

Especially when you have a large family.. I'm in debt just getting them each one thing off their list. And then you feel terrible when your younger siblings (who don't know any better) tell you about all the great things their friends are getting for Christmas. :(

Being broke sucks!

Actually, my family had a bit of a problem with money during September, too. We were in trouble of

losing our house, because we could not pay our house bills...we eventually refinanced our house.

My family had a money problem too. My dad bought me some nice clothes for Christmas and that's it. But It doesn't relly matter to me, because all I want is to be around my family. (and a wi and tp, of course :))

Christmas doesnt have to be about spending lots of money. you can make some one something special, it costs a fair bit of time, but not much money.

The best presents dont come in a box, afterall.

I dont mind if i dont get anything for christmas, i have the things i need. a house to live in, clothes on my back, food in my stomach & good friends.

Either way, its no fun to be finacially frustrated. Its hard to explain to a little kid why all their friends are getting so many gifts and they aren't.. :/
