  1. Woke up, hungover, couldn't use my voice to it's full potential (I guess I was yelling alot last night). Went to the bank, pulled out money, restocked my supply of herbal goodness, managed to eventually develop an appetite, ate a nice filling snack/meal, went back to my friend's and started drinking again... then around 9-10pm we went to the concert at the point for a fireworks display. All in all, a good day/night and a perfect end to a spectacular weekend :)

  2. Unless the shot of the throne room was done later some time after it was built... You can't completely trust what the credits have sometimes, I suppose. I mean, from the distance in Eldin field you could see a large portion of the castle, although the smoke does cover most of the bottom...

Yeah I'm with you on the whole "misleading credits" part. I'm thinking along the lines of Wind Waker, where Makar and Medli are supposed to be praying at the temples they're assigned to, but yet you see them on Link/Tetra's ship at the end, ready to go looking for a new world for ex-Hylians to inhabit? What's up with that? They just decide to turn their backs on the Goddesses and their destinies or something?

  3. The best piece of advice I can give you is to bank your rupees often, that way when you finish the pre-requisites to get into a dungeon, you can store your rupees you got so far, then reverse time to the first day and THEN tackle the dungeon (provided you found the closest owl statue to the dungeon), and have enough rupees so you can buy bombs, arrows, bombchus, etc in preparation to clear a dungeon.

    Hope this helps :)

  4. Dude, you have an awesome job. Any job where you get free things for working there is a good job.

Dude, you have no idea how right you are on that one. I worked at a KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken) on a full-time basis before, and before every shift I'd be permitted at least one item of food to eat as a "dinner/lunch/whatever", but I'd pig right out when the boss went home as long as I didn't eat any of the chicken (they kept inventory stock on that). But one thing's for sure, I'd leave every shift well fed, and still be able at the odd times to prepare and take home any other food before I finished my shift. For example, having a free 20+ piece of chicken wings on a night where I was starting to play Zelda TP for the first time :D

  5. Actually that's the standard "Legend of Zelda" theme you hear in just about every series. It's either in the intro, at some point during the story, or remixed as a "new" song in some of the newest installments. If I can find the actual name for the song you're asking about, I'll post as soon as I can find a lead :)

  6. Terrific. I'm a pig (Chinese Zodiac), and my spirit animal is a wolverine (sweet! where's my adamantium skeleton... eh? EH?) :D

  7. I think it's stupid. Although I have occasional thoughts of it because I'm picked on so much.

I was just talking about this with someone the other day. It sickens me that when people get bullied/picked on by others so bad and they can't do anything to defend/protect themselves, the more it keeps up with no salvation in sight, the more it brings a person's love of living down. They commit suicide because they can't take it anymore, and the bullies win. If I had my way; if you bully someone and they commit suicide, you should be put in jail for a long time. To me it's just the same as an act of murder, but indirectly.

Twili Link, you should never have to be so pushed into a corner/intimidated by bullies that it makes you want to end your life. It's not the way to go man. I know there's the whole "don't rat" code in schools and outside schools, but if it's getting so bad that you don't want to live and put up with it anymore, it's time to take serious action. Start by letting someone with authority know of the situation. They should get them to stop. If these bullies come after you for doing it, call the police. Lay an assault charge. Even a restraining order. Just be careful with this part though; there's a lot of crazies in this mixed up world, you could get stabbed or shot. It's a risk you'll have to take if you want the bullying to stop. I don't know if this applies to your situation, but if you're tired of the bullying, and you don't take steps to stop it from happening, then it's safe to assume you're really not that tired of it after all.

    Hopefully this helps

  8. Morning all. What's up?

Hung over... but! Soon as I get some food in to me and a little bit more mobility, I'll be ready to drink again for tonight in no time ;)

  9. I would love to see the Pegasus Boots and Roc's Feather used in 3D Zelda games. Instead of rolling through Hyrule, you could just dash... up until you got Epona or warp capability, whatever.

  10. Heh yeah sailing wasn't too fun when it was 2-4am and you're getting sleepy... I fell asleep once or twice while sailing from one lengthy stretch of island to another (before I discovered the Ballad of Gales); I'd wake up and Link would be floating in the water surrounded by sharks, or sailing against an island and not going anywhere... I guess I'm just lucky I never wound up sailing into the path of Cyclos without the Hero's Bow, or encountering a Big Octo, or just as bad... bombarded by bombs from a fleet of pirates

  11. Interesting. I thought the triforce of courage was needed to open the entrance to Hyrule, because the entrance was sealed again (by King Daphnes) to guarantee Zelda/Tera's safety in Hyrule.

But now I see nobody really knows for sure why it was necessary for Link to gather the triforce again. (i thought the master sword with its powers restored by the sages was already enough to defeat Ganon. Apparently it is not and the power of the triforce muse be used aswell?).

Anyway, I think this point should have been made more clear in the story. The King of Red Lions just said one short sentence alone about the triforce needing to be assembled (with no reason given). Maybe it will become more clear as I progress in the game (which I absolutely love sofar).

I always assumed the Triforce of Courage gave Link a little extra protection against the powerful magics the Triforce of Power enables Ganondorf to throw at him. I think a lesser person playing "badminton" with Ganny's energy balls would get incinerated on the spot, but Link's got the protection of the Goddesses on his side; kinda like heraldic body armor :D

I think in that sense, it was necessary for Link to collect the pieces and reform the Triforce of Courage. Plus, I think the King of Red Lions might have had a plan, but it would require Link to collect the Triforce of Courage... you'll see what I mean during the final battle :)

To answer your question about how you could get down to Hyrule after beating the Tower of the Gods... I would imagine the Goddesses used their power to open up a rift in the seal they put over Hyrule to enable this new "chosen hero" to go down and collect the Master Sword and put an end to Ganondorf once and for all. They couldn't seal him away and keep him sealed after OoT, so they decided to allow their chosen hero to slay him and end his threat to Hyrule for good, allowing the land to return to it's former age of peace.

Then, once Zelda (the holder of the Triforce of Wisdom) wound up underwater, the Goddesses wanted to keep her and the Triforce of Wisdom safe, so they made it so that only the reformed Triforce of Courage would be able to open the seal to return to Hyrule.

None of that is spoiler or is mentioned in the game; it's just what I believe is the reason for how Hyrule is accessible easily after unlocking the Master Sword, but harder until after you collect the Triforce of Courage. Anyway, I'm done. Hope you enjoy the rest of the game, I know I did (I'm currently fighting the last boss of WW as I type this). :)

  12. I guess that could work, until word gets out that your store's employing people possessed by vomit demons :P

Just don't do that in the fast food business though... lose every one of your customers, AND probably get shut down by the health inspectors... o.0
