  1. Don't worry, we'll be fine. With the Bird Flu, only like 1/100000000 of the world population was infected, and it didn't even take that many casualties. The Swine flu is just a redux (if i remember what the word means correctly, anyway XD)

I'm personally not scared at all, as there's only 1 (I repeat, ONE - and it was reported TODAY - how long has the Swine Flu been at alert status? :zelda: ) case reported near me, and it's 3 counties away. As for seeing that Wolverine movie this friday, I'm still deciding between that or spending some quality time with my Wii. XD

  2. I guess I did, and all you can do is troll at me like a little 12 year old moron.

And you, dumbass, fail at life.

    Someone ban this idiot.

-_-' And you're stooping to his level. He wants replies; why else would he act like that? Just ignore him, and if it pisses you off that much, report him and be done with it.

Please guys, let's try to keep this civil, shall we? This is probably one of the reasons Dustin left. Blah blah blah, Troll comes and bashes party, then normal users get mad and troll back, and it goes back and forth and etc. etc. etc.

I really don't know anything yet, as I just got here, but Dustin would probably appreciate it if we all stopped this nonsense.

  3. I haven't been dissappointed by any Zelda game to date except Zelda II. (Out of the ones I played.) I saw vids of the CD-i ones, and they looked so bad that I didn't bother getting an Emulator to play ROMs of them.

Phantom Hourglass's humor wasn't all Toon Link falling in the background with a weird face. Unless you never thought Linebeck's antics were amusing at all, or Tetra's.

Wind Waker's graphics were amazing. Just because they took a new look doesn't mean they suck. -_-' I liked the new look, I also liked Ganondorf's personality the most in this game. However, I was sorely disappointed with the difficulty of the bosses - all of the dungeons but Dragon Roost Temple were harder than the boss themselves. And the only reasons Dragon Roost Temple is easier than Moldova is because the dungeon is SO EASY. xD

Minish Cap was quick, yes. However, if you took the time to enjoy it slowly, it's an awesome game.

Four Swords Adventures was an OK game, but I have no doubt in my mind that it would have been better if I could have played Multiplayer instead of by myself.

Ocarina of Time had a cliche story, but they made up for it in gameplay awesomeness and the seemingly endless amount of sidequests. It had 12 songs to be played, each with its own effect.

Majora's Mask really pumped up the difficulty with the time system restricting what you can do, and when you can do it. Plus, all the enemies hurt a lot more, or they seemed to for me. They added the ability to be cursed (unable to use sword) (and the shield as well if I remember correctly). They went a bit overboard with the Metamorph Mask puzzles if you ask me, it seemed like I was putting them on and taking them off every 10 seconds, and I was disappointed with the fact that they didn't add a post-story dungeon for you to use the Fierce Deity Mask, because without one, it rots in your inventory, only able to be used in boss battles, which half of it's very ineffective against away IE: Goht, the twin snakes (I think they called them Twinrova, but since that's the name of Koume and Kotake's merged form in OoT, I doubt my memory), and the fish boss all have to be killed in such a way without the FD Mask that it makes it damn near impossible to use the FD Mask to kill them. But other than that, it was a moderately original story (taking the Moon into account - the moon is a popular subject to be associated with villains) with classic weapons that all got graphic makeovers, in addition to the Great Fairy Sword, and the masks became weapons themselves as well. It had 10 songs, each with its own effect. However, three songs are repeats from OoT.

The original Four Swords was amazing, but it'd probably be even more amazing if I could have gotten two more people to play.

Twilight Princess didn't disappoint, but it wasn't totally amazing, either. It was a GC/Wii remake/combination of A Link to the Past and OoT.

A Link to the Past was great, and I wish that Nintneod had had the insight to use the Cane and Cape in future LoZ titles. They were very innovative.

  4. I thought you left the site, you pussy.

Did you forget your purse? Zing.

I came to this site two days ago, and I already know who to avoid. -_-'

@Dustin: Sounds like aside from the quotee in my post, there's quite a few people that don't wish for you to go away permanently. Plus, I would lose the opportunity to get to know what is probably a pretty awesome bunch of people here on these forums.

  5. I hope you know what you're in for if you decide to take on this project; If you haven't done any forms of scripting, spriting, etc. then this is going to be harder than you can imagine. Do what I did; If you're a beginner game designer, start out slow. Go with easy-to-edit games like Pokemon Ruby or Leaf Green, and become familiar with tools like PokeScript, Advanced Map, and stuff of the like. Then move on to more difficult things.

If you're a veteran designer, then ignore all that. If you like, however, and you do decide to start this up again, I can be your grammar editor. That's one of my few strengths when it comes to helping people out.

    Which isn't very often...

I already have a program that can create games like Pokemon and stuff. I know spriting pretty well, my only weakness is spriting from total scratch, but I can get help with that when/if I need it.

The only thing you mentioned that I haven't done is scripting, but I know somebody who is a total code monkey when it comes to programming things, and he has an interest in games like I do, so I have that covered if the need arises.

Plus, if any needs come up that I can't fulfill, there's people at the various forums I go to that do almost anything imaginable. I'm sure I could convince them to help me.

  6. Last time I heard he had given up on the project.

    Sorry :zelda:

    :cry::cry::cry:

That's what I was afraid of. Do you know anything else about it? Like what program he used, or how I can contact him now?

  7. Never heard of him, or his project. Sorry.

*throws head the side like Napoleon Dynamite* Dang it, Kip!! You ate all the friggin' chips! xD

  8. I was browsing thru the old topics here, and saw that a user by the SN of Hyrule Boy started to create a GB version of Majora's Mask to be played on the PC.

    My questions---

    Did he ever finish?

He hasn't been active in over a year. Does anybody know how to contact him now/anymore?

(Only anser if the answer to the first question is no) Why didn't he finish the project? Do you think he'd hand over the files to someone willing to give him credit for what he has done, and finish it?

I really want to know, because I think it is a GREAT idea, and I'd hate to see it fail.

And does anybody know what program he was using to create the game, in the event that I can't find him or the finished project?
