[Nintendo Press] MEDIA ALERT: Fossils Roar to Life at Interactive Fossil Fighters Launch Event

Already a world-famous destination for prehistoric discovery, L.A.'s La Brea Tar Pits will be the site of an extraordinary entertainment find as Nintendo touts the upcoming release of its new Fossil Fighters™ game for the portable Nintendo DS™ system with a launch event for kids and their parents. Highlights will include a chance to play Fossil Fighters in advance of its Aug. 10 release, as well as a hands-on fossil dig in which kids compete to excavate and assemble the game's fearsome creatures for prize giveaways (while supplies last). Attendees of all ages can enjoy a live Fossil Fighters tournament, and parents will be granted free admission to the nearby Page Museum at the La Brea Tar Pits when accompanied by a child.
