It does. When Link went back in time he chatted with Zelda and that's why Ganondorf is being executed in TP.

Yeah, it's weird and doesn't quite add up with how Majora's Mask came into being but w/e, it's the official stance of Nintendo.

well idk man it was Eiji Aomuma and everything and Wind Waker takes place parallel to Twilight Princess and WW took place in the adult timeline so idk man
