London (CNN) -- A judge ruled Thursday that Britain can extradite WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange to Sweden for questioning over allegations of sexual misconduct.

At Belmarsh Magistrates' Court in London, Assange sat in the dock as the ruling was read and showed no emotion. Later at a news conference, he lashed out at the extradition decision.

He said to thrust someone into a foreign land where someone does not speak the language or understand the judicial system "is a very grave matter."

Looks like Britain will be sending him off to Sweden to face rape charges.

The charges, actually are not rape. They are somewhere between "Sex without a condom" and "Sex by surprise". (No joke) Though the woman he slept with knew he didn't have a condom, they can still push the first charge.

Yeah, it was more of a case of "changed their minds after the fact", but they're calling it sexual assault and rape.

No, it was more, they consented, then decided after the fact that they hadn't consented to sex without a condom, so if he had used one, they wouldn't have charged him. At least how I understood it at the time.

Well, the charges are a few years old, an they had been dropped originally, after the whole thing started up, the government renewed the charges.
