Long Ago there were three. Three spirits that created the the earth. Din- Creater of fire and power, Nayru- Creater of Water and wisdom, Farore- Creater of life and courage. It is believed that there was another. A goddess of time, Ona.The three goddesses are believed to have banished their sister Ona. Before she left she gave birth to a child. She named the child Link.She took link to a small village on a lake. This lake was later named Lake Hylia.

She left link with a family of humans. But later when link was very young hylia was raided. Very few made it but, One person found the frigtened baby Link and took him to a forest. The boy eventually grew up when a small fairy named Navi appeared and took him on an adventure he would never forget. He fought against the Evil Ganondorf. Ever since that time, if Evil should ever rear its ugly head another Link rose like a pheonix from its ashes.This is the story of one of those times.

It was a warm day in the little town of Ladona and it was Link's birthday. He became 15 years old that day. The children were playing with wooden swords and it was Link's turn to fight Lars, the town Guardian. Link swung the wooden sword shaped like a longsword at lars and he dodged, following up with a jab. Link immediatly rolled to the left and hit Lars' leg with the sword. Lars limped acting as though his leg was wounded.They beat the swords together furiosly, ducking and dodging. " You are very good Link," said Lars. "As are you." Link responded.Finally Link rolled behind Lars and struck from his back to his neck. Lars sort of yelled falling to the ground acting as if he was killed.He slowly rose amiling. "Well, link, I believe it is time to open presents!" he chuckled. Link opened the first present, it was wrapped in a thick coat of leaves."Wow!" he said realizing that it was a fishing rod. He opened the second one and shrieked with joy. "A sword, a sword!" and indeed it was."Thanks Lars." "Dont mention it.". Then came the next two: a sheild and a green tunic.Day after day week after week he played and practiced with his new weapons, untill one day, it was dark, very very dark, and the sun was not shining though it was scarcely noon. Screams could be heard in the distance and Link, sword and sheild drawn, went after it.He ran and ran until he saw blood. Streaks of blood. He followed it and it led to the body of his trusted friend and guardian Lars.Link swore under his breath and looked for signs of where the perpetrator went. At last he found footprints and he chased them. He followed them until he left Ladona and was now in a forest.He still followed the foot prints. Eventually, he found a very large cave. It was where the foot prints led. He stepped inside and noticed faint light surrounding him.

He walked deeper and deeper until Link felt like he had walked to the center of the Earth. He heard growls all around him and then he felt many eyes upon him. He held his sword at the ready and began the hold it out. They all attacked. At least 6 of them. Just as they had Link let out his furious spin attack. He yelled a battle cry as the blood from the mutated looking wolves splattered across his face.Link panted, when he noticed something on his hand. A triforce. One of the triangles glowed bright as he held the sword.

Link eventually found his way back to Ladona only to find his hometown savagley torn apart and most of the homes burned.

He had found most of his friends and family lay bloody on the ground. Link let out a terrible roar.He felt warm tears rising to his eyelids. How could i have known? he wondered. I couldn't have... i couldn't have saved them could I? he thought practically balling. As he cried he heard a voice calling him. He looked around holding out his sword turning his sorrow into rage.

"Whos there?!?" he yelled." It is I, Luna."said the voice. "Did you do this!?!?" he said. "No, but i know who did."

"WHO!?" he screamed. "His name is Ganondorf.He and his army of Moblins seek to kill you and take over the world. i can help you stop him." Luna said. "Alright....," he said calming down."But show your self." "But, I already have, i am behind you." Luna said. Link Turned around and saw a small bright pink fairy."Link, listen, there are several elements we need to aquire befor being able to unlock Ganons chamber. We must head west." said the fairy. "Fine. As long as I get my revenge."

So off they walked, and floated, west.Luna explained that 30 years ago A boy named Link fought Ganondorf and defeated him. But some years later he mysteriously disappeared.As they walked and talked it got it came to twilight time.Link was walking and a blinding flash of light appeared in front of him. And when he opened his eyes he saw everything under a complete layer of cloudless twilight, though moments ago he was under a cloudy sky. Luna gasped. "What is it?" asked link. Luna was shaking like leaf that had a pool of water on it.Link suddenly realized that in front of them was a weird-looking creature. It was black and had sort of a circular symbol on its chest.The symbol was pink.Link drew his sword and sheild and jabbed and sliced the creature until it fell.It exploded unexpectedly and walking.They eventually stopped at a few vines that looked to make up a door.Link began to cut the door down when a fox jumped out . Link swung his sword and it dodged. It suddenly changed into human form. "Hello link" she said obviously female. "H-how do you know my name?"Link replied. "Link.... She is a sage." said Luna.

"Really? What is that?" he inquired. "My name is Seriea." Luna replied to Link by saying" A sage is a keeper of one of the elements. They protect them and make sure they don't fall in the wrong hands." "thats just it," Seriea said "Ganondorf has taken the shadow element!"Luna gasped and Link was dumbfounded."We must get it back Link!" said Seriea and luna in unison.

"so where to go first?" asked Link. "Well," said Luna "We must go and see Princess Zelda." "princess who now?" asked link. "Zelda. she is the sage of light and princess of Hyrule." "P-princess?" "Yes princess." "i'll go with you." said Seriea. "you might want this." she said giving him a flute of some sort. (most would realize this as being the Ocarina)"Zelda gave it to me. Before her daughter, Zelda, became the princess." "Wait a moment," said Link"Zelda is the daughter too?" "Yes."replied Seriea. "Link we first have to travel through Hyrule to get there."So off they went. After a few short hours of walking they heard an odd noise. When they looked around they saw several Black blurs in the shape of men.Link lashed out at them swinging through them, after every hit they disappeared.Seriea jumped on their necks but every time they shouldv'e died they just disappeared and reappeared. On finally jumped into link,literally. Link fell to the ground going through what looked like a seizure. He blacked out and when he woke he was in a room with a woman in black robes speaking the Seriea.Link took a look at his hands and they were dark, as if a shadow had appeared on top of it...
