The projected release date was originally the first quarter of 2008. The new date is Spring 2008. but to cheer you up nintendo has released info that mario kart will have bikes.

it was never down for a first quarter release, it was down for a first half, so its not been delayed.

Plus I pointed out bikes in my news post.

I saw some pictures, peach was the only one on a motorbike in those ones though.
