4:01^PM Decided to read some Zelda fanfiction, which has sadly declined in quality in general in my humble opinion. Read zelda oracle of stories. Spelling and grammar was horrendous, so I suggested the author run it through spell check or something to ameliorate the problem. I got this reply:

well SJ, not everyone takes their fanfics seriously, some are seriously lacking in quality and others are just very inexperienced. remember fanfics can be written by anyone and some may be written by 12 or 13 year olds who don't even realise they are making spelling mistakes or using improper grammar.

You tried to help him by providing some constructive criticisms and he didn't want your help - there is nothing more you can do.

I've never been a big fan of zelda fan fics anyway, people have so many different ideas of what should happen and how various characters interact with each other, it's almost impossible to keep it true to the original games...

Of course writing a script for my game, it makes me somewhat of a hypocrit, but the storyline's kinda necessary...
