Through Nintendo Wi-Fi? Pokemon Battle Revolution works nicely, and you can connect your Wii with Pokemon Diamond/Pearl on your DS as well.

Hah, Nintendo's got you fooled there. Nintendo's infamous for a lack of FPS games in its library; the closest you'll get on Wii (for now, anyway), is Corruption.
