Here's the deal, I bought a japanese game without realizing it only works on the japanese ps2, so if anyone can teach me how to get it to work on the american ps2, I'd appreciate it. I have heard of slide carding, mod chips, etc., but those have risks, I need other ways to hack. If I can't hack this, I have to send the game back for a refund, or something... If you are a hacker/have experience with this, please help me, or I'm screwed.

I think your only options are the mod chip or the refund.

mod chips arnt too expensive though, as you said do have some risk.

its a disc called a freeloader, it makes your ps2 region free.

Unless....

Learn how to reprogram. Only other option besides that.

I've heard of risk free devices that make Japanese games work on American systems, but I can't remember their names.

Why don't you want to trade in the game?

well, I have wanted this game for a very long time. I am a KH fan, I have the 1st and 2nd games, however the game I have-not working is a 2 disk. One is KH2 Final Mix (KH2 with 50% very awsome extra stuff) and KH2 chain of memories remade for the ps2.
