i dont see any reason why i should stick a mod chip in mine anytime soon. however, im really wanting a different case but i think im going to wait for different ones come out....

Modding a Wii might cause it to malfunction during a system update, so I don't think I'd want to do that.

The only rel benefit to chip modding your wii at the moment is to play games from other regions, something that wouldn't seem necessary in the US because most games come out there first and if they come out in Japan first, you'd have to try and understand Japanese.

In the UK on the other hand...

Regardless, my wii isn't modded, plus Nintendo seem determined to get rid of modded wiis and the system updates try and destroy modded wiis

Well, I haven't thought of MODDING IT, But I HAVE thought of stuff like this:

Right now I'm not sure you need a mod chip for those, but I saw this trick on Youtube that lets you play other regions game without a freeloader.

That TP skin for Wii is really cool! If I have him i go to change him a little (with red leds)

So I get more effect (glowing just all the time or Only when I get a message than the case is glowing to )
