What's with these RPs?

Everywhere you look, there are Role Playing threads. What's with all of these? It started like a week or two ago, and now it's everywhere! I've seen like 5 from the same user! Why are all of these suddenly popping up? At this rate, we'll need a separate website for them!

Akamaru is the most consistent topic-creator in the RPing forum, with about 4 topics for RPing. Maybe that's who he meant.

Surely most people use the same character or two, so why are there so many threads?!

Also, I'm almost getting tired of all the SSBB threads. There's 8 alone on the first page of 'view new posts'!
