Well, I recently got into Anim8or, and have been making a lot of items from the LoZ series. I even made a map of some of the starting area in OoS. I'll put all my projects and such here.

Feel free to rate and comment.

Now we have a skull in the collection.

The skull of what?

Could it be a vampire?

Misshapen human?

Some other thing?

Possibly.

Sahaqiel

We all know it's just a random skull to throw at me with many more to come. xD

Anyways,

if more people visited this thread, they would've figured this year's April Fool's day prank a lot quicker. =)

This is what you get for not visiting Saha's thread. )=

Not bad. What 3D Modeler are you using?

(Your models would look a bit better if you applied textures.

Example:Midnatxt.jpgvs.Midnanotxt.jpg

Visis my gallery, cleverly titled "art")

You clearly ripped those models, Midna Project. ;P

In any case, the skull was from scratch, and I wouldn't call it a human skull.

It's a bit too monstrous for that.

More likely, Iwish I had ripped those models. Unfortunatly, few people know how to do it, and those that do won't tell (If some one would 'fess up and tell how to rip GameCube models, my life would be a lot easier, but thats a different story...)

The files were ripped, however, I just didn't do it. I Found a site that gave out the models in a .3ds format. (In order to animate, I need a MAYA format)

The point to posting the pictures was just to show how much the quality of a model imporoves when Textures are added (The two models are exactly the same, one just is showing textures; the other, flat colors.)

Heres a model i did make, though:

FloatingRock1.jpg

FloatingRock3.jpg

FloatingRock2.jpg

(thre's supposed to be a castle in the midle, but the castle broke the limits on my computer (also note the missing textures on the back of the mountain, yet another downside to havinbg a 5 year out of date computer that was bottom of the line when it was bought)

(This is an older model of mine which I made before I knew how to get rid of the white lines.

You're doing prett good. In fact, My 3d model maker is probably inferior to ours in all ways but one: My 3d model maker was meant for people like me, who have never used a 3d editor in their life. it's easy to use for simple things, but it's a pain in the butt doing anything more complicated than a house.

you can probaby put shine and different "skins" such as bumpy, smoth, rough, to ou objects, where as my models using glass have as much shine to them as models of rock.

I've tried Anim8tor before, and I gave up, it was way to tricky. I'm suprised you've done what ou did using it. I can't even figure out how to put objects in. keep up the good work
