Activision confirmed that it will bring its popular Guitar Hero series to Nintendo DS under the aptly-chosen title, Guitar Hero: On Tour.

------

Guitar Hero: On Tour is set to come included with a guitar pick-like stylus for the touch screen, which will serve as the guitar's strings. Confirmed artists whose records will appear are Nirvana, No Doubt, and OK Go.

Activision is aiming for a summer 2008 release, but no price tag has been confirmed as of yet. No version for Sony's PlayStation Portable has been announced as well.

Wasn't there also a previous Guitar Hero game for the DS as well? (I think there was...)
Personally, I never get too interested into handheld games. I'm not sure if I would buy it. I'm sticking to the Guitar Hero games on the main consoles. :)
