Mario or sonic?

I personally like Mario. I've known him 10 years longer than Sonic. Mario is Italian. ( Who doesn't like Italians?) And mario is related to Luigi. Plus, Mario has more Games than Sonic, Last, Mario and I have "Rio" and the end of our first name. he's basically my childhood hero. But that's just me.
