Zelda Movie Trailer: Possible Proof It's True?

Okay, so we all know the debut trailer was posted on April 1st, April Fools Day, and so forth this movie is on the weight scale of Truth or Lies.

Well, after reading IGN's little article on the film, I came across the names of the actors/actresses who play the roles of Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf.

Zelda is played by Camille Celeste Brown. Check it out:

http://www.camillecelestebrown.com/

Camille is a Los Angeles-based arts professional, DJ and actress. "She plays Zelda in the Rainfall Films/IGN Legend of Zelda film."

Well, there's a little bit of proof. Want more?

Now Casting:

More?

J.R Killigrew apparently plays Link in this film.

"L.O.Z: Director: Sam Balcomb"

Sound familiar?

(IGN's article)

"What we do know is that the film is being written and directed by newcomer Sam Balcomb."

More proof?

Gregory Lee Kenyon apparently plays Ganondorf in this film.

I found some stuff on Wikipedia saying that he has worked with Sam Balcomb before on a fantasy film called, 'Ancar.' Though it also said on Wikipedia that Sam Balcomb was casting him as Ganon. If you search uo Google, you may find some results on Ancar, but then again, Wikipedia isn't a completely reliable source.

And here's the website for the film:

For this much info all on an April Fools joke? I think not, honestly.

I really think that they mean there will be a film. Then again, this is just my theory, I'm not stating that they are, I just feel that they most likely will.

Well, considering if they really are working on it, and if they will finish it.

Sounds pretty ture to me. This is great! xD

Now all they need to do is cast a really adorable kid as the little Link. x3

God, this is going to be epic. The CG is absolutely amazing!

Nah... I call April Fools. If Nintendo actually sold the rights to the film it would be much more better than what the trailer showed.

Maybe, but they've got a low budget and it's an independant film.

If they had a decent budget, Gann'ys beard wouldn't have been synthetic. xD

I think they put the release date for April 1st to throw people off.

Take a look at this little link that may or may not be proof that it is a joke.

On first sight of this thing, as well as most everyone else I am sure, including the link above, I thought the same thing myself about it being a joke... But after I have read the evidence of it being true I think that there may be a shred of hope for it being real... But wow, what an odd time to introduce it, April 1st??

But then again... Maybe those actors were just cast in the trailer of the movie, that would be listed in their credentials, too. Especially since the movie trailer is so elaborate.

I'm on the fence, one half wants desperately to believe it, while the other half is just waiting for the hammer to drop. Nintendo's had bad luck with big budget movies based on their property before(Super Mario Bros.) maybe independent movies are the way to go.

Guys, it's April 1st. That alone proves it's not real. And what's with the movie being realeased on April 1st, 2009?

I agree that this is the most elaborate hoax I've ever seen, though.

I want to, but I still don't know. Zelda's hair looks.....cheap. The ears...could be better. And Ganondorf? Erm...I'm not gonna comment.

I dunno. I want to believe its true, but you cant ever really trust anything on April Fools day. I hate this holiday.

With a burning passion.

all of the actors / directors are no-names or new comers.

surely they would try and put one at least semi famous person in the mix some where?

Well my theories have just been crushed.

IGN editted in a new note today on the very same article:

[EDITOR'S NOTE: April 2, 2008 - 12:01 a.m. PST. Yup, you guessed it. The Legend of Zelda trailer featured above is part of an elaborate April Fool's Day prank. Check back in later today for more details on the IGN/Rainfall Films collaboration that resulted in this "love it or hate it" piece of videogame movie history.]

*sigh* Oh well. I guess it was a good April Fools prank.
