Im at the part where you have to shoot the two eyes, but they close when you look at them, i've tried hoplessly to fake them out, but it doesn't work. Anybody know how to shoot them?

(And if that's not how you lower the spikes to get the Big Key then how do you get it?)

teher the grappling hook between the 2 posts, shoot the rope so the arrow rebounds into the eye(s)
