In BusinessWeek Magazine's annual "Worlds 50 Most Innovative Companies", Nintendo placed among the top ten, coming in at number seven.

------

Nintendo's rank at number seven is up thirty-two, from thirty-nine last year. Compared to its competitors in the video game manufacturing industry, Microsoft placed its ranking from last year in fifth, while sony made ninth, up one from last year. This marks the first year all three companies have ranked within the list's top ten.

Once again, Apple topped the list, for the sole reason of the success of its iPhone, noting its touch screen interface and placing third in the smartphone market in less than a year.

You wonder how exactly they mark these things?

Another list I saw Nintendo was top (apple second), especially so considering after the gamecube they looked to be doomed to irelevance (booo!)
