Twilight Princess Intro sequence

Wii.com has been updated with a movie of the intro sequence for twilight princess. Link and details after the break

The sequence looks very similar to the one for Ocarina of Time, with link horseriding through the scenery of new hyrule. It's a good oppurtunity to look at the new landscape, including massive cliffs, towering bridges (presumably the jousting fight bridge from the e3 2005 demo). Epona does look pretty fast as well, meaning that the "45 minutes" claim would make hyrule bigger than we think The clip is about a minute long.

There's also a new trailer which shows clips from the first part of the game, which seems to have changed drastically since the e3 2005 demo...

I knew about this since I got on the pc, but strangest thing, the opening vid stops at 1:06 and it was fully loaded, I exited and tried again, but it kept stopping there fully loaded. It also happened with the other vid with the clips, but not the same time.

Dustin needs to update the site more often but anyway, the Openng scene is beautiful, and there are a lot of newvideos in Wii's site. They are short but really cool....Altough that chicken headed thingie scares the **** out of me...

I noticed something a little disconcerting about the actual game... The ground textures looked exactly identicle to Ocarina of time, especially at the cliff scene where it looked like the grund just bent at a 90 degree angle and went straight down... 2-3 years of waiting for this game, the entire last year being so they could make it look better... and they are cutting graphical corners like that? that does not bode well at all.

it is still just gamecube graphics...did you really expect that big of a change in ground textures?

I thought the graphics were amazing, although i do agree about the cliff, i mean they CAN be shaped like that in real life, but it just doesn't look particularly natural there.

I just want to announce that im not going to be bringing any more in-depth news about twilight princess until its release in europe, because i know if i look for it I will come accross way more spoilers than i want to. I know a site where you can read about the whole game up to the end of the first dungeon (and more's going to be revealed and im sure other places now have similar, im determined to not read these so that i don't spoil the game, so me finding zelda info is now on hiatus, it being so close to release.
