Hmm. Well. Verizon sucks.

Plain and simple.

I like their phone service.

It's all right.

But for internet?

No.

Never.

I mean, they charge their PHONES at fixed monthly rates, but they charge their internet like a phone.

Well, let's see what we have here.

They apparently charge for every megabyte you download.

They charge you for being online.

They charge you for connecting?

Those three things have made my mom's Verizon bill total about 2800+$, IF she's lucky. If not, then 400$ more.

I like the internet. It's a fun place where I let my creativity wander and I communicate with people. I learn here, have my own experiences, make some friends.

But apparently, since I was NEVER alerted by my mother or ANYONE by that matter, (There isn't even a "Billing" section in the effing installation disc or connection program) that Verizon sucks the money out of you for such trivial things, my mom MIGHT just go to jail if she can't pay it.

Funny feeling, being responsible for a possible jailing experience. I might have felt better if it were me on the spot.

But yeah, I'm saying goodbye to the internet for a few weeks.

Possibly months.

I mean I could go to my dad's. He has internet.

But I won't be here a lot at all.

I'm tired.

I'm tired of putting up with this kind of thing.

Vast unfairness, is what it is.

And for those of you hypocritical morons who will say, "Hey, life isn't fair and you just have to deal with it",

Life isn't fair, true.

Nobody said we can't try to make it fair.

And you know what?

We used to have Charter. They had fixed monthly prices.

What's wrong with Charter?

We didn't have to switch.

It's certainly much cheaper.

I'd like to know.

My mom. She switched to Verizon.

Ouch, $2800+!? Meh, I never really liked Verizon anyways. It sucks that you're leaving for awhile, but hopefully you'll come back and the product you use to get online won't suck in as much money from you. I don't believe I've heard of Charter, but if it's cheaper, then take it.
