SSBB Tourney Rules

I'm putting this here so it's easier to find and the thread will be left open for any questions which need to be asked.

# In this first tournament, each game will be a 4 way free for all. The games will be stock with 5 lives each and no time limit. All items will be turned on and at medium appearance.

# Only one game will be played, there will be no warm-up games or anything like that in order to avoid confusion. You must wait a reasonable time for all 4 people to arrive. Once all 4 people are there, the game will be played

# In order to organise the game, you can PM the other members that you will be playing. Alternatively, you can use the organizing thread here. When the game has been organized, please use the same thread to say when the game will be played

# Report the game on the report games thread, which can be found here. Everyone who played the game should report it.

# When reporting the game, report who came in what position. If everyone does this, then it ought to be obvious if anyone is trying to cheat. Also, make a note of how many KOs, Falls and Self Destructs you had and report this. This will allow us to track your stats.

# The top two from each game will go through to the next round and the other two will be knocked out.

# Any disputes over a game should be raised with a mod, but it will most likely be a majority ruling from the players in the game.

question: if we use a characther in the first match, do we have to use them the entire tournament?
