The Pelonesian War

Okay.If anyone here hates Naruto,I'm sorry to disappoint you.This is a fan fiction set in the Naruto World and features so far only ONE character that's in the anime/manga,and mentions only one other.It also mentions a book from the anime/manga.Otherwise,this is original,only set in Naruto's world.

DESCRIPTION OF ADDER

Adder Arkay was born in Polonesia,a kingdom built by British immigrants who migrated to Japan[284 years ago.]They migrated under the lead of William Arkay,a man who gained immense strength and physical limits and a control over his adrenaline,but lost almost all control of his essence[Polonesian word for chakra]through an unknown process.People began to see him as a leader,and he gathered followers and set sail for an

unknown world to lead by themselves.They continuously searched until they found a desolate part of Japan and settled there.What William gained was passed down through his descendants like a bloodline trait.Adder's father decided to search the surrounding lands and destroy them so that they truly would be alone.Even if they already were,he wanted to see for himself.Adder already had mixed thoughts about these plans before his father gathered a large army and attacked Obsidian,the demon that terrorized Polonesia for almost 3 centuries.That's practically the entire time they have settled there.They didn't attack Obsidian to destroy him.They attacked him to weaken him.After that,they sealed Obsidian inside Adder,thinking that Adder could use Obsidian's power whenever he needed to.After this,Adder slipped out of Polonesia late at night.He ran down a random path that led to Naruto's setting.

That's the old history that I had.However,changes have been made.For example,the word "Polonesia" became "Pelonesia" because Pelonesia just sounds cooler and I read "Polonesian" in a book somewhere and didn't want to rip it off[even though I came up with the word before reading that book suspicious.gif ].Also,Obsidian has been pretty much put down inside of Adder by the Arkay demon,which Adder discovers at some point when he's traveling with Sayuri Arashi at age 12.Adder also discovers that everything about controlling the adrenaline was a lie,and that it all was actually the demon's chakra.Also,through years of nonstop training,Adder has broken far beyond the supposed limit for an Arkay's chakra.

Adder is now exceptionally skilled in everything that he does.

That was the description used for the ultimate rp.Now for the description on why he's in the war.

Adder signed up with the Village Hidden in the Leaves to fight back the Pelonesians,kill his father,and protect his wife Sayuri.

Ok,now to the first 2 chapters.

CHAPTER ONE:AMBUSH

Adder jumped off of a Pelonesian ninja's shoulder,turned around in the air,and threw 4 kunai.They instantly went down his spine,one impaling the spine over another.Adder flashed a hand-sign and the paper-bombs on the kunai detonated.Adder landed and turned to see the ninja's limbs and appendages scattered around,with a pool of blood where the soldier was standing.

Adder had signed up to fight back the Pelonesians with Konoha.That was one of several run-ins with Pelonesian scouts on his first mission.Adder was to go to an outpost and help them defend against Pelonesian ninja.There were very few shinobi in that outpost,and they needed all the help they could get.Adder had grown tired of these run-ins,however,and as a result,sprinted out of the forest and into the clearing where the outpost was located.

Adder couldn't believe it.He was too late.The outpost had become a smoldering ruin.No signs of life were in the burning schools and collapsing homes.Adder couldn't help but feel as though it was his fault.Everyone who lived in this outpost had died because he didn't make it in time.Adder didn't look forward to reporting his failure at all.

His first mission had been a complete failure.The outpost that he was assigned to protect had been burnt to the ground and it's inhabitants had been slaughtered.All because he didn't make it on time.Adder left the outpost in shame.He went out into the field that the outpost had been built over.Adder kept on walking until he went out into the center of the field...

Suddenly the silence had been broken.Yelling rose over the outpost and into Adder's ears.Adder drew his katana as an army of Pelonesians charged out of the trees.Adder jumped high into the air and spun around,throwing kunai.Adder detonated them as he fell to the ground,killing the first wave of the troops.

Adder rolled and drew his katana as he landed and rolled into the second wave.He spun as he rose from his roll,slashing the enemies' ankles,knees,and even thighs off.The soldiers fell to the ground,screaming in pain and blood pouring out of their dismembered legs.

The soldiers decided to rush Adder while he was in the middle of their wave.They used their swords like spears,but Adder jumped as they tried to impale him and landed on top of their blades.Adder drop-kicked one of them,caving in his forehead.Adder grabbed one of the soldier's wrist,broke it,ducked,spun around,soldier in hand,and smacked every one of those soldiers with their ally.Adder threw the dead body into some more soldiers and charged in with his katana.Adder decapitated one soldier,slashed the one next him's arm off,spun and sprung off of his right hand to shove his heel into a soldier's solar plexis,impaled three soldiers in a row on his katana,slashed a soldier in half,threw one to the ground and beat his face in,strangled one and beat another soldier with the strangled soldier,the fight went on.

Adder was playing bloody murder with the army.Adder had beaten the army down to about 20 soldiers who attacked in groups of four.Adder stayed atop a hill of Pelonesian bodies and fought the groups off.It boiled down to the last group and Adder slashed one's legs off,threw his katana through one's skull,grabbed one's wrist and twisted it to where he stabbed the soldier with his own sword,and punched the last one in the face,knocking him back with a satisfying crack.

Adder collected his katana and sheathed it.Adder recovered a Pelonesion sword and impaled the body at the top of the hill with it,marking their defeat.Adder had failed but succeeded at the same time.With that,Adder walked back into the forest,leaving it all behind him.Adder had to make sure to be on time from now on.He felt ashamed,but at least he had finished off the enemies that had destroyed the outpost.Adder knew for sure,however,that he would definitely survive this war and return home.Sayuri had nothing to worry about.Adder walked through the forest,wondering about what he might face next.Adder now looked forward to proudly reporting his success.He took one last look at the hill of dead soldiers and moved on.

He had won here.

A man walked on top of the hill and drew the sword at the top of it.He looked at the way the soldiers had been killed,and how the nearby outpost.Since the outpost had been destroyed,it wasn't likely that the village's soldiers had done this."Adder," he said to himself."Damn you."

CHAPTER TWO:OUTPOST

The higher-ups were impressed with how Adder dealt with an army of Pelonesian troops single-handedly,but the fact remained that his first mission had been a failure.Regardless,Adder was given an identical assignment.

Adder spotted the outpost as he came out into a clearing.Adder stopped and looked around.The area looked exactly like that last outpost's area.The thought of seeing the burning outpost again pierced into his mind like a spike.

"So,you're the mercenary," a guard yelled from atop the wall."I'm not a mercenary,I'm a volunteer,"Adder replied,irritated."Good.If you were,I'd try my best to have you fired.I can only hope that you don't condemn this outpost as well.You know what,I won't let you into my outpost.Stay out here and keep watch or climb your way over the wall if you want it.I'll warn you that the little wall-running jutsu won't work on this wall."

Adder knew what this was.It was a test.He didn't want Adder to keep watch.He just wanted to laugh at Adder's efforts."You'll find no humor in me,"Adder smirked.Adder jumped high onto the wall and ran without using chakra.It was slippery!Adder slipped,but drew a kunai and thrusted it into the wall.Suddenly,he found himself struggling to keep his fingers around the kunai's hilt.He had enough of this.With his free hand,he reached into his holster and drew another kunai.He thrusted it in right above the other kunai.He pulled himself up with the first kunai,launching himself into the air.The kunai broke from the wall and he used his right foot to spring off of the second kunai,breaking it off of the wall.He reached up with his left hand and grabbed the top of the wall.Giving the man no time to kick him off the edge,he used his left hand to execute a front-flip onto the top of the wall.

"There's chakra in the wall,isn't there?" He asked the man."Whatever...Just don't cause any trouble in my outpost," the man said,walking away.He stopped."At the first sign of an attack,I want you right where you're standing ASAP." With that,he left.

Adder walked around in the outpost.It was like a miniature Konoha.There was even a ninja academy.It made him think about the last outpost and how he couldn't save it.He felt responsible for what happened to that outpost.Needless to say,he was going to fight hard to keep this outpost from burning to a crisp.Adder leaned against a wall and watched the children on the swings to give him inspiration.

Adder snapped into a salute as the jonin who cammanded the outpost-the very same one who greeted Adder at the gate-walked by.He stopped and looked at Adder."I want you following every last order I give you,'volunteer'."

"Sir,yes,sir!"

So far Adder managed to pull that off.He was at the same spot he was ordered to be in.He,along with the rest of the outpost's defending shinobi stood at the top of the wall.

"Arkay,Hiroshima,you're with me."

The battle raged on,but the shinobi held out.Adder,the jonin,and Hiroshima had been waiting for this moment,and now it had come.Quietly,they slipped out of the trees and advanced upon the Pelonesian army's six.Pelonesians locked in combat with Leaf shinobi soon fell victim to the squad.The Leaf shinobi that witnessed this imitated the tactic,and soon after the army had been defeated.

"Good job,everyo-Ugh!!" The jonin fell to the ground,blood shooting from his neck.A figure that was behind him lept into the forest.

"Stay here!" Adder yelled,following the figure into the forest.

Adder left past a tree-but didn't land.He didn't feel anything.He looked up and saw nothing.He looked down and saw nothing.Everywhere to look,and nothing to see.Only darkness.Darkness everywhere...Blinding him...Deafening him...

An excruciating pain skyrocketed through his ear and was caught on his brain.He tried to clutch his brain but could not move.He tried to yell for relief yet no words escaped his lips.

Then it struck him.Genjutsu.He tried to stop chakra flow,but something resisted.He struggled.He fought to bring the chakra to a halt,but some kind of force fought him,like a rebellion against a dictator.Then something came in and stopped it.Something...He knew it wasn't him,yet at the same time he knew it wasn't the genjutsu caster,either.He could feel it.

Adder found himself standing.He sprung into action,leaping deeper into the forest.

A man attempted to kill Adder in the same fashion in which the jonin died,but Adder had come prepared.The clone vanished,and Adder tried to slice the enemy in half with his katana,but failed.The man sidestepped and whirled around,drawing his own katana.

The Pelonesian troop fell back against a tree.Giving the enemy no time to recover,Adder dashed in and relentlessly pownded on the enemy's katana with his own.Adder raised his blade high and made a vertical slice.The enemy sidestepped and jumped back.The Pelonesian flashed hand-signs.

Adder's vision faded and went completely black.The genjutsu again.A man appeared,but it wasn't the one that he was fighting.

"Hello,Arkay," the man said.Adder recognized the voice."Do you remember me?"Adder remembered now.It was the man who told Adder that his father had killed his mother.The man who called himself "Trailos"."Ah,but Trailos is such a stupid name,isn't it?I am Ulysses Tyler." Ulysses Tyler was one of Jonathan Arkay's top men.Ulysses started to walk around."Dead on,kid.Let's see...A single martial-artist against a squad of five illusionists...I'd say you're screwed.So.Why would I tell you that your father killed your mother?Well,for one thing,it's very funny to watch you betray us,run off,make friends,get married,all of that.Oh.That's right.I've been watching you for years.How old are you now...Twenty-One?That makes nine years since I told you that your father killed your mother,which he really did,in case you're wondering.My,have you grown!Just look at you.Of course,I'm acting like I haven't seen you,which is not the case.Not only have I seen you,but I've reported all information on your skills and tactics to that o so great leader of mine.This brings me to the real reason I did it.I did it so I could get a chance to him,be it by your hand or by my own.Now,the reason for this is obvious.I'm taking over.You Arkays have ruled long enough.Now,on to the torture.You see,you are unable to move.That's because you're in my little fun-house now.You see,I can't exactly do whatever I want to you...Yet,but I have an extremely abmnormally high amount of essence.I can do a lot of things,like this." He snapped his fingers and the migraine that Adder had experienced in the last genjutsu returned."Now,say that I add in two people who have about half as much essence as I do cmoe in." He clapped his hands and two people appeared,which Adder guessed were his squad-mates."Now there is twice as much chakra." He snapped his fingers and Adder felt like he was having a heart attack.Several of his internal organs twisted around each other.Inside his body,his veins imploded.His muscle and his tissue and everything rotted.Ulysses clapped his hands and two more people appeared.He continued,snapping with each new painful way to torture him.Adder's bones broke,Adder's arteries burst,Adder was tortured beyond belief."I grow bored of this,and therefore must take my leave.I will enjoy using you in the near future.Goodbye.

The five people left,but Adder did not see trees or grass.Instead,his pain stopped...And he drifted into slumber.

Adder awoke in a bed.Alarmed,he tried to get up,but could hardly move.He managed to lean forward enough to look out the window.He sank back into the bed with relief."I'm in Konoha," he thought to himself.The door opened and a woman walked it."Tsunade-Sama..." he said,trying to salute."You don't need to," she said.Adder lowered his arm."Just tell me what happened." "Everything went smoothly," Adder began,"and then the commanding jonin ad been killed.His killer fled into the forest and I pursued him.On the way I got caught in a genjutsu.It wasn't like any genjutus that I've read about.It was...Different.I escaped it and continued.I got into a fight with a Pelonesian who I guessed was the jonin's killer.I got caught in another genjutsu,only it wasn't my opponent's jutsu.Instead a man tortured me.More people came into the jutsu and helped him.From what I counted,it's a squad of five genjutsu specialists,and the squad-leader is one of the Pelonesian King's top men.After the jutsu was released,I woke up here.""Get some rest,or read this book that Kakashi Hatake recommended."Adder was handed a book entitled "Make-out Paradise"."I...See..." Adder replied.Adder wasn't one for romance novels,but he'd read it anyway to pass time.
