For your weapons and spells you have anyone of these: d4 d6 d8 d10(0 is ten) d12 d20 and a d100(10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 ,70, 80, 90, 00) If THAC0 is mentioned, you get extra damage against something, EG

3d10+10(this +10 means whatever roll you get, you add ten onto the final score)

THAC0 +5 to undead, +10 to Undead lords

This is how you work out damage

you roll 0 0 0 + 16 + 10 + THAC0 +10 to undead lords (since your oppenent is a lich king) THEN you take way the armour value, the lower the better, he currently has -4(for every one damage you do to him, you take 4 damage, he stil takes the damage, he then takes 66 damage BUT YOU TAKE 264, note this is only works for melee combat, ranged and everything else is standard -armour value)

You need to make checks for actions like spells if you're being attacked via ranged or melee

You want to jump over the chasm, however you need to make a d20 to see if you don't trip or anything and make the jump and then you need to make another d20 check to see how far you jump(the chasm is 20ft, so if you had a pole'd weapon of some sort, a metal wrapped halbred would give a +5 bonus
