muffin asked for hard mode, so I mixed in T1g's and provided muffin with the same image of T1g's scramble so he could pick out the garbage values from his own card

I'm aware of no one else who has a single serious issue with Gunbuster... well this is new. The final episode was in black and white and widescreen to feel more theatrical, and if the intricacies of the entire mindbogglingly gigantic battle were delved into it'd not only take much more time to show but would distract from the heroines, who are the focus of the whole story. The series of events isn't hard to follow, plus the small details of the battle don't matter. What matters is Noriko and Kazumi's struggle alongside their friends against unimaginable odds in order to save humanity, and the sheer force of drama that comes with that and the resolution to it all. And all of that comes across crystal clear.
 
(I like Gunbuster a lot if you couldn't tell.)

It's still weird for a giant mech to wear. Although, was it used as a shield? I feel like he used it as a shield during one or two parts. So, I guess it's not as strange as it could be, like Texas Mack's robot in Shin Getter Robo vs. Neo Getter Robo.
 

 
But Texas Mack is great, so I forgive him. He also has a giant horse that might or might not be a mech. I want it to be a real horse though... a real, American horse that grew gigantic and strong by eating steak and drinking milk for big, strong bones.

Yeah, the up to 8-player matches sounds like a lot of fun. The announcer the whole time really was great. "IN FACT, IT'S NOT EVEN COMPARABLE", "You can also see a list of past notifications... EXCITING", "On the gamepad there's a MIC". I was loving it, too.

Apparently America gets Glalie and Japan/other countries get Steelix? I don't know the actual details, but I think that's how it goes. Probably trying to make us trade with other countries now just to get the Steelix/Glalie mega evolution stones. So much work...
 
Thoughts on the demo though: BuzzNav is really annoying, but will hopefully be more helpful in the actual game. The new "sneak" walk is hilarious and a nice touch. They also made it easier to heal your Pobeys in the item screen as well, which is nice.
 
It isn't a really interesting demo though... kind of boring, but whatever.

No. Watch a different anime with a large cast of characters that are actually developed and don't die after an episode. Like Baccano!
 
Unless you just want to see a lot of people die to giant mentally handicapped people with lots of gore and reaction faces. If you want an actual story and actual characters, go for Baccano!
 
Or just watch Attack on Titan regardless.

I, too, have trouble with wondows.exe

Bahamut looked plenty solid from episode 1 to me, but this second episode was definitely even better.
 
Although, it is somewhat distracting to me how the setting is this strange mixture of different mythologies, legends, and a tiny bit of actual history. Between this show and the Jeane D'Arc strategy-rpg for the PSP, I'm starting to think the Japanese actually believe Joan of Arc was a purely mythological character and not the very well documented real life person she was. It's like if Napoleon , Richard the Lionheart, or Julius Caesar showed up out of nowhere in a fantasy series that doesn't appear to take place in any particular place or time. I'm sure I'll get used to it eventually, though...

I didn't think I was going to like the girl as much as Carrot Top and Byakuya Dandy, but she's 10x better than I could've imagined. I hope we get more of this cuteness and action and amazing animation quality all season. I wasn't really amazed with episode one, but I did enjoy it. This episode makes me think it'll be a solid show though.

Seriously though. The last episode didn't stop bringing out huge twist after huge twist. I couldn't handle it. I don't know if it was actually bad or not. But it was fantastic.
 
I found it kind of funny that pretty much every new episode kept adding to the Tragedy of Bashtarle scene, because each time it revealed some new information that was extremely important to the plot. I totally called the ending after episode 5 or 6 though. I didn't have confidence in it, but I thought it for a few seconds, so that makes it legit.
 
If nothing else and disregarding the animation, it's definitely one of the most memorable anime I've watched.

In a lot of anime, misunderstandings are commonplace and often leave people thinking "Why don't people just say what they mean?", because that would immediately solve the problem, but it's anime so they don't.
 
Giant Robo is like taking that to the extreme and then multiplying it by 10, except in an interesting, but still upsetting, way. Also, I hate "read the manga" endings even though it was still an ending ending.
 
Also, I finished Giant Robo, Zako/Necro. I finally did it. The world didn't want me to finish it today and I didn't, I finished it tomorrow, but I did it. The power was out for 18 hours, but I did it. The Magnificent Ten and The Celestial Nine/Experts of Justice and Big Fire and IPO were great, man. Taiso and Alberto the Impact were the best though.
 
That whole ending was banana though. Like, let's be honest, the last two episodes were absolutely twenty types of banana. No one could've predicted this. It was more out of left field than End of Evangelion. Good anime though. Good mecha. Phenomenal animation above all else. 9/10. Who's Komei.

I think it'd be funny, since Pharrell has been following Daft Punk's career since they started, if he got into anime through Interstella 5555 and later he was chilling with Daft Punk and started talking about how much he loves this newfangled "loli" stuff and starts being a hardcore creepy otaku and Daft Punk are just extremely uncomfortable while Pharrell is being super enthusiastic in that weird Pharrell way about weird creepy culture.
 
Alternatively, Daft Punk take out their loli figurine collection and they compare excitedly.

 
This is so banana. He has collaborated with Daft Punk and Vocaloid before though, so. It'd be hilarious and awful if Pharrell were a legit lolicon though. The part where he's trying to give the girl a yukata and then a hip-hop yukata is hilarious and cute. I wonder how much say Pharrell had in this video and how into anime/VNs he actually is, if at all. Also, seems like people from Shaft animated this? Or at least some of their animators, since it has very Hidamari Sketch/Madoka-styled wide faces and the animation quality is also phenomenal.
 
Regardless of all that though, it's pretty nice song.
