Link's hat and future business

Something that baffels the minds at nintendo is Link's hat. For some odd reason, they can't seem to keep it from phazing in and out of his sword. I wonder, will this lead to a zelda game with hats for sale when he accidentaly cuts his hat off with his sword. Uh oh...

It's kinda annoying, but it's not that big of a deal.

yer, it even seems to happen during clip scenes, but i geuss that's because the clip scenes use in-game graphics, unlike something such as fianl fantasy.
