Making some chainmail out of soda tabs.

There's a funny relationship map going on with it, too.

I offered joint custody for a full (more or less) set of soda tab chain mail to Hideki, if he provided me with access to his copious amount of tabs, but terminated the offer once I started making it. It takes a long time and I'm too fond of it to part with it, though I'd lend it to him if he wanted it. A friend of mine gave me her store of ~470 tabs that she strung for a program at her school in second grade, I think, and in return, I have to take a picture of me wearing it when I'm finished for her mother. Hideki is still providing me with some tabs, though he's still bitter that I won't offer him partial ownership of the suit. My primary source is now the above mentioned necklace and the >1000 soda cans in my friend Nate's garage.

Anyway, I'm making an arm right now.

The largest pictured piece is ~70 something tabs, so I'm going to have to pull a lot of tabs for this project.

Just being near stuff when I take pictures puts a weird filter over images if my face is exposed at the time, as a defense mechanism for my hideousness being exposed.

MOST OF THE TIME, I MAKE EVERYTHING LOOK YELLOW.

Case in point.

Which is why I garner respect with my nickname, "The Yellow Fever".

No filters OR FLASH were used in the taking of that picture.

I MEAN, LOOK AT EVERYTHING BEHIND ME.

EVEN I AM STARTLED AT THIS TREND.

I'm half Filipino, which is close, the Philippines being to the east of China.

Also, yeah, I watched that video with the girl in the well and the chair and the mirror and yeah.
