Devil Survivor

So alongside various gifts for Christmas, I received the DS game, "Devil Survivor" ("Shin Megami Tensei.") Now, I'd heard of it, but as I stared at the case, I didn't know what to make of it. The art looked really nice (seeing as the character design was from one of my favorite manga artists) and the story sounded a tad generic from reading the description on the back.

And now, I'm pretty much hooked. xD

The game utilizes the strategy RPG-type battle system, which I've never really been a huge fan of until now. So far, the game's a little dialogue-heavy, but it's not so bad. It really reminds me of The World Ends With You, but with a little less pozazz, unfortunately.

If anyone has bought this game recently or has beaten it, what did you think of it? (No spoilers please, as some people reading this topic might be playing the game and have not beaten it quite yet, like myself.)
