I wouldn't think Ness' clothes are that common, anyways. They have a sort of specific pattern I wouldn't look at and think, "Hmm, I guess he just felt like wearing those that day". I mean, he's got a kind of out of the ordinary hat color pattern, turned to the side, which isn't quite in style.

Mother 3 is also a relatively recent release, so I wouldn't say it's that outdated.

At least it's not as bad as Twilight cosplayers. This isn't even about the quality of the series. Nobody can recognize them because people in Twilight dress in the SAME WAY REGULAR PEOPLE DO.

With the exception of body glitter, it's pretty much a lame excuse for a costume. No recognizable items/facial features. Only regular clothes and glitter.

Unless they're dressing up as a human from Twilight. Then I just shake my head.
