Okay. So. Everything I'm about to explain is a blinding rant. These guys are much better at explaining things.

about a week ago I was browsing DeviantArt(btw I lose more an more hope in DA every time I browse it), and I happened across some guy named bleedman. Gosh, I thought, this picture he did for valentines day looks kind of like a more mature dexter, of dexter's lab. I think "That's kinda cool I guess." So I decide to browse his gallery. I notice he's got a section called grim tales from down below. "Oh hey," I think, "I wonder if that has anything to do with Billy and Mandy."

So I click it, and I read a page. Some skeleton kid and cut up dollface are in some part of hell they're not supposed to be in. THey're at risk of being caught and its dangerous and stuff. Instantly reminds me of Lion king. I read on. Some grey guy comes to eat them, and then Spawn comes to stop the grey guy. I'm reminded of how I couldn't get through a half hour of that horrible movie. I read on. Turns out the skullkid is the son of the grim reaper, naturally. More stuff happens, I wonder if billy and mandy have anything to do with this at all.

Turns out, it has everything to do with The grim adventures of Billy and Mandy. Its a Billy and Mandy fanfic. More on that later.

Written by this guy, by the name of bleedman.

For those of you who don't want to read an entire article on encyclopedia dramatica flaming a 40+ year old Filipino male lolicon, I"ll give you the tl;dr version.

This is a guy is, I don't know if there's a word for it. He does fanfics from cartoons. Which is retarded, yeah, all of us here know how retarded fanfics can get. This guy apparently did one on the powerpuff girls, drawing them as lolicon bait with every single goddam panel upskirt. And it was highly successful. I think its part of this whole cartoon network fanfic he's doing where he ties together pretty much every cartoon on that show into one big city called Megaville, and when he ran out of characters to give crappy plots for (Samurai jack is a gym teacher), he started pulling in people from Nickolodeon, and looney toons and jeebus. I haven't read it, but apparently its giant weeaboo bait. They f***ing eat that **** up.

So he went and started that Goddam billy and mandy bull I mentioned. Here's the plot. Grim never gets around to killing mandy when he's supposed to, So she grows up to be like 20 or something. Then he f***ing proposes to her. Grim and Mandy get married and have these two kids. So this one time they decide to take those two kids to wherever the hell the nightmare before christmas happens because guess what Jack and Grim are brothers and ****. So more bait for the weeaboos and whiney emos. I dunno I stopped reading after he began to relive the plot to that movie. By the way I never finished that movie, So I'm hoping Jack dies. Also, did you know mandy was behind 9/11?

This guy, bleedman, has no originality. He has shamelessly plundered and plagiarized practically every goddam cartoon I've come to enjoy, and turned it into lolicon bait. I don't even get it. He's good at drawing, I'll give him that. But its like he doesn't even try to make decent stories! Everything he's doing has been done before, and whats worse is his characters aren't even original! And when I figured out this was the guy I saw on deviant art, I went back to see his page.

This Lolicon f***** has 18,000,000+ page views. He's the most popular guy on DA. And rarely even puts art on DA anymore.

Consequences of all this:

1. Any hope I had for finding good art and respectable artists when I first joined DA has all but died.

2. I don't want to watch cartoon network anymore.

I did give it a chance. I read the comic from the beginning to the part where the big green guy from nightmare stabs her in the back with a giant robot or something. Then I decided it was retarded and moved on.

Its not "incredibly good." The entire comic has absolutely no original characters. On top of that, the characters he's using (jack, green guy) are over used by fans enough as it is. If you'll notice, he took every character that had anything to do with the underworld in any way and tied them in. Even Halloween, probably the most loosely based thing he could do for that. Even Hellboy. F*** that, I like Hellboy. Hellboy is cool.

And then, theres the plot. I told you about how the beginning was a rip off of lion king. Really the whole plot of the thing was following popular plots from movies or books that were original at the time. Such as the fact that he's feeling overshadowed by his sibling and lashes out at her, then the sibling he is so jealous of dies or something and he has to go save her. Theres nothing new there. Its been done so many times, that was a plot for power rangers on one of their seasons.

Then theres the fact that He's a raging lolicon pedophile who keeps drawing everything on the little girls (which are numerous) in his strip upskirt all the freaking time.

This is the main character, now staring at his absolutly naked sister's vag. Did I mention his sister is incestually attracted to him? I'll give him points for that, I really didn't see that one coming.

This is Blossom of powerpuff girls.

The fact that he's the most popular guy on deviantart infuriates me.

And don't get uptight about the art style just because it's in anime format.

I didn't say anything about the art style. If anything, I'm upset that he's wasting his talent on this crap.

actually, its worth noting he couldn't even come up with these two characters on his own. He blatantly stole them from another artist on DA, and admits to it openly. All he did was redraw them in his style, just like with every other rip off he's done, which makes him OH SO POPULAR.

We know that much, that no one is completely original. And I still cant decide where I stand on pedophilia and lolicon/shoticon. Its the fact that this guy is taking such basic story lines and adding completely copyrighted characters to them, without so much as giving them credit, and is so popular for it.

I mean, theres a fine line between original ideas, creative spins on things, semi original, and just drawing characters from cartoons into a comic with a story line thats we've seen a thousand times.

quazy, there is no such thing as "anime format". If you think upskirts are "anime format", then you're not only confirming he's using cliches, but that you also have no taste and are stereotyping. ;/

Oh my goodness this image I just screenshotted it possessed by the devil or something because no matter what you do to the image only the black bars move if you also have this problem then I have to confirm that I broke reality just now. To test this, click the picture to enlarge it or something or copy and paste it onto Paint and just move the picture fffff what is this. You can't quite help but see thighs like that at that angle, also.

Perfectly reasonable-length skirt, two short pieces of clothing that never reveal anything. I've never seen a pantyshot in this anime.

BUT YEAH, POINT IS, ANIME HAS RESTRAINT SOMETIMES. People like you propagate that it doesn't and that kinda' irritates me. You honestly kind of have to look for anime like that, or you would know what it's like before you watch it, so it's your fault if all you're exposed to is erotic stuff. :/

Also, just mentioning this, dA states that you can't draw erotic pictures of characters if they're not a certain age in the canon. I had a friend who got banned for drawing an adult version of a child character erotically.
