O'Quinn/Emerson Project

Actors Terry O'Quinn and Michael Emerson (John Locke and Ben Linus of LOST) are looking for ideas for a new television show the two can star in. I thought it would be fun if Hyrule.net came up with ideas for these two venerable actors.

Here's mine...

Jim Straight (Emerson) is a "By-the-Book" detective who is smart, gifted and a little bit clumsy...

Roger Lace (O'Quinn) is a gruff detective who plays by his own rules.

As partners these two unorthodox detectives became the go-to guys in the department, but that was 20 years ago.

Now retired, the two are called back into work when "The Switchman" a serial bomber returns. Now these two cops must put aside a two decade grudge and work together to catch the one who got away.

Terry O'Quinn and Michael Emerson are "Straight-Laced"

I see it as a Dramedy (comedy drama) that shows what happens to the typical "buddy cops) after they retire.

How about they're both really drunk all the time, and they're in AA but they sneak alcohol all the time and get the whole place wasted and get into all kinds of mischief because its a comedy and sends a hilarious misconstrued message about Alcoholics Anonymous to the point where children try to declare themselves alcoholics to get in on the fun and it turns out AA really sucks.
