mysterious tower in tp

Go to the part in hyrule castle where you are outside just before the zelda-gannon fight. Right when you walk out face your 1 o clock or 11 o clock and equip the hawk eye. There sould be a tower. When the lightning strikes you shoutd be able to see some more of it. What is it?

My first impression was that the tower is a location for a previously removed area or a location for the nsxt zelda game, though this is highly unlikely.

Any other ideas?

The tower is the place with 50 floors, And when (if) you get inside, you have to fight your way to the top floor. I don't know what's up there though.

i was lookong around in the outside area down below and it turns out to be the towers surrounding hyrule castle.

Yeah. I played TP yesterday, and I saw not one, but two towers. Seeing that tower kinda reminded me of the background during ALttP credits.

Well my first guess was the Stone Tower in MM as an easter egg,but it's probably just a guard tower.
