They were coming out with a halo for the DS but it got canceled because it looked too much like metroid... Upsetting? I know.

no no no I saw a demo online and it was on the Bungee website. These kids were talking about it and I was all Yeah right so then i looked it up and saw a demo of it. it looked really nice.

on the contrary, my dear friends. this WAS gonna happen. keep in mind that ninty and microsoft are very snuggly. 1. bill gates wants to buy nintendo; why not prove to them he wont hurt the company? unfortunately for him, the whole halo ds thing got cancelled, thus he couldnt. 2. remember when the 360 came out? the DS IS compatible with the 360; Nintendo and Microsoft DID agree to those terms, but in return, nintendo wanted permission for Rare to make games for the ds (hence diddy kong racing.) so, theres no doubt in my mind that this was legit

i dunno, it's possible, but i don't think it was legitimate, don't you think it was somewhat convenient that it was cancelled, despite the fact it would've sold absolutely tons.

Plus microsoft lack their own handheld gaming device currently which is why rare was allowed to make diddy kong racing for the DS.

Don't ask me how i know this, but the warthog picture is from the island on level 4 of halo 1, i just recognise the scenery and there hasn;t really been any other part of the games like it.

so it's halo 1 in that respect...
