download the internet channel in shop channel... it tells you all the stuff you need to know...

if you mean to get it connected to the internet, you either need a wirless router or a nintendo wi-fi USB adapter and then you can use the internet part of the options to set everything up.

if you can use the internet fine on your computer and don't have a wireless connection, you can buy a wi-fi adapter for DS/wii, they're about $30...

YOU CAN'T HAVE INTERNET WITHOUT A ISP (INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDER) so yes you need one...

using the internet on the wii is free, but only if you can already use the internet on your computer, which costs money..

also if you are somehow able to set up a tv and your wii at a wi-fi access point then you could play it for free, but how you'd go about doing that is beyond me
