Broken Quest Glitch on Twilight Princess (wii)

Here's the deal: I got up to the part underground where you find the sky cannon with Shad. I walked in and shad came down after. At this point I saved the game and shut down the system. I started it up the next day and I'm supposed to talk to Shad so he'll leave the room and I can warp the cannon out. But when I started up the save game, Shad isn't in the room. He's just outside with the Dominion Rod Statue. I try to go talk to him by leaving the room but he keeps asking where I'm going and the game kicks me back to the room. I can't warp out or turn into a wolf because it says someone's watching.

I'm sure that Shad is supposed to be in the cannon room with me so I can talk to him and have him leave. But I can't and now my game is broken and I can't continue.

oh that sucks... something similliar happend to me when I tried to get biggorrons sword in Oot....
